I can understand them wanting to wait until any and all kinks are worked out and they have everything in place to announce fresh starts. It is better to be ready and safe then fall down at the starting line.
I am also wondering why they don’t at a minimum release server names and server groups to let us start to plan out and recruit for companies. If they say, “Hey here are a list of severs so you can start to build a company”, in this highly social game and just don’t release the date until they are ready I think that would clam a lot of emotions and people will lay off for a bit. If they decide to announce with 2 days head start I think that would be a missed opportunity to allow us to build out stronger social groups that would keep us playing and engaged.
I know it may feel like a half step but that would probably be preferable to the ambiguous soon.
Thank you for the news, and look forward to them. I have one really important question that is a big deal for myself and the guild I’m playing with.
We are currently split on going fresh start and staying legacy as obviously many who never quit still put a lot of time into their characters, and New World is not really an “alt” kinda of game.
Can you please let us know if after 3 to maybe 6 months if these servers will be open for transfers? This is very important in keeping our community together long term.
@Luxendra on South America, i think we need al least 3-4 fresh start servers…
here we have a lot of people who should return to play on fresh srv…
and of course no one want queue
