It’s extremely concerning to me how AGS is failing to address this. I can deal with a lot of bullcrap, but fucking up the ability to have friends play together is where I draw the line. There needs to be accountability.
When will AGS stand up and address this MAJOR issue?

Yes please, my friends will only come back to play New World if they can transfer to get the band back together. I already transferred once in the past few weeks to get onto a server that was not locked at the time. We got some ppl back, before Maramma all of a sudden locked and now a bunch of people can’t get on.
Please unlock the servers, announce it, and give us a deadline. Do this before Brimstone sands release please, thank you.

Lol, instead of unlocking the servers they added Eden to the list. That was unlocked earlier. True clown show we have going on over at AGS. Really really really rethinking my come back now. I thought with all the changes they finally started listening to their player base, but then we have this shtt show.
Its super sad, but I’m honestly feeling the same way. Came back 3 weeks ago, first week was amazing, it re-lit my spark. Now that spark is diminishing, faster and faster each day.
Just sit tight folks. I’ve been waiting to transfer too, but I sure don’t want to sit in a queue for hours. Think this is what they are trying to avoid with the closed servers prior to things going live.
My friends have been waiting for 2 weeks now. One of them just bought the game 2 weeks ago. Telling them to “sit tight” while were all having fun, feels wrong.
They closed servers wayy too early if this was their goal. Lock them the week prior. But a month prior? Really?
I’ve been waiting nearly as long as they have. What I chose to do was continue to play the game, make a decision on what I wanted to concentrate on (going for a pve healer) so am using this time to not only fully max my new weapons, but to learn how to use them in the most effective way. I am currently a lvl 60 tank, but I do get what you are saying.
Maramma will have the largest queue at BSS launch.

Aaaaand… servers will be unlocked after Brimstone Sands, not instatnly, but shortly after the amount of players will more or less equal out on every server
I agree and hopefully once things calm down they’ll reopen the worlds to transfers. Just if we get hour long queues I don’t want to see a bunch of posts bitching about them lolololol
if gear didn’t cost gold cap this their be tons of people to fight lol sadly 1 bis cost 50% cap so no one going to play then
No I’ll be twice as upset, because not only can I not play with my friends, I have to wait hours to play without them. AGS could merge all the inactive accounts into a new server, but that is probably too much work for them and they don’t care that much if there are queues, or if players can’t play with their friends.
What I’m getting at is sometimes what we ask for can lead to other complications especially depending on what world/server you want to transfer to

Lots of old CF people want to come back and play together. Between the Burrito Banditos, Kings, and Consecrate plus others im sure.
Right now I’m in Aukumea, nice low pop which makes gathering easy but hell I’m waiting to transfer to El Dorado which may or may not open as it is pretty populated. Only time will tell.
Check out the server stats, things are really filling up even in the new servers. Great anticipation out there for Brimstone.
