You see, I mainly play this game for the PVP. Thats why I need high pop for more open world pvp, more opr queues, more variety in 3v3. In low pop servers, if you get an OPR, it’s always against the same people, and same for 3v3. With 2000 pop I still fight the same people multiple times a day, but with a 1000 pop it would be like every match. That would be a terrible game experience.
If someone wants to play on a high pop server since its needed to have a good pvp experience, they should be allowed to at whatever cost.
I get that. I’m a casual player w/friends. Folks who have the same mind you do are trying to get PvP only servers started. Hopefully they will get them.
I don’t want pvp only servers because I like being able to take a break and just gather my materials. I sometimes go afk while i’m playing. But when that’s done, I don’t want to be prevented from open world battles, opr matches, arena, ect.
If they could just unlock servers for a day to allow players to join friends, I would be very happy.
most eu servers doesnt have que anymore,Dry Tree pop decreased a lot.
A lot of people stuck in other servers because of this lock,open it for 1-2 days so people can move to their server before big update.
Why aren’t the inactive accounts merged onto a server all together with a free transfer in pocket.? Then open all the server.
See something like this makes more sense to inconvenience the non supporter quitter, and to not inconvenience your supporters by herding us and treating us like cattle, or if AI runs things were are being treated like bits to be shifted.
smartest thing they would have done is make inactive accounts for like 2 month to remove from that server and give people transfer token so when they play the game they can choose the server they want and people wont have que/server issues.
I am giving up here. I have come to the conclusion that AGS knows what’s best for us, just like they did at launch and this return to attitude is just going to kill the playerbase again. History repeats itself. Seems the only way they realize their error is when everyone stops playing.
The sad fact is because of the handling of this situation I do not believe there is any guarantee that servers will be bustling for this new patch. Yes they may try be premature in trying to assist players because they believe there will be an increase because until servers unlocks happen and people have the chance to be with their friends most will not be interested in returning.
We had half our company on Barri and decided to move to Fae so that our entire company could be together (unfortunately still missing 15 people of the 95) and between us have moved countless times between EU servers. Now we are on a server hitting a dreadful peak that was locked too prematurely
Seriously, please unlock the servers. You have a lot of returning players who want to play with their friends and now you’re just driving away returning players because they can’t play.
AGS just shooting themselves in the foot because the foundation of their server design is flawed.
