I thought the PTR was coming up at 1:00 PT. Do we have patch notes yet?
nothing official but people who have downloaded the patch are now looking for changes.
Doesnt look like much.
maybe even only the leaderboards.
I think myself and many others are waiting to see the pvp nerfs so we can start prepping/making gear. Crafting is too expensive to make a full set that’s going to be garbage in a few weeks.
I have a fresh 60 and i’m stuck now.

I am not one of those people with the 50gb patch downloaded so I cant say.
But there might be some combat balances on the PTR.
Maybe its just leaderboards.
Got about an hour till patch notes.
I think it would be obvious regarding the resil light nerf, people would have noticed the lower % value. Perhaps they are rethinking the nerfs based on the feedback already provided and only pushed leaderboards on the PTR
They had zero plans on doing combat balance till about a week ago.
They looked at the forums over break and saw it was nothing but complaints.
So AGS doesnt even know what they are doing yet for the combat balance changes.
Prob another 30 days before they start to make changes.
It does look like the PTR is for leaderboards only from what people are saying. Hope they are wrong.

Not sure todays patch will just be leaderboards. The developers comments 9 days ago made it sound like there would be changes on PTR very soon.
Hello everyone,
We wanted to provide an update around Combat Balance. As you may know we are always reading feedback, tuning, testing, and iterating on weapons, their perks, and combat.
There are a few trends that have emerged that we have been internally testing balance changes around, namely for Fire Staff, Bow, Musket, Hatchet, and Greatsword. The initial weapon and perk updates will be coming to the PTR in the very near future with the aim to improve the viability of magical weapons in PvE and some PvP scenarios and ranged weapons in PvE scenarios. On the other side of the coin we are testing changes to reduce the power of some melee weapons and ranged weapons in PvP. In addition to weapons we are also reviewing equip loads to ensure a good balance between survivability and utility.
We look forward to hearing your feedback as some of these changes when they become available in PTR! As part of our commitment to always be iterating the combat balance in New World there may be more changes through the course of the PTR!
