I really hope so. I didn’t spend 40k but I spent about 20k. If I new this system was coming I would have bought cheaper gear with the same stats.
New World Devs !!! So you are officialy changing no fun to greater no fun. Look at GW2, you can just play the game and you are getting gear. If u want top gear you realy need to farm but it gets you max 5% more than others. Why u are taking all the fun from playing. Dont you see its too much and ppl are leaving?
I was so pissed off last night when I read this and I was pissed this morning.
Now I’m not. I realized this will be a guaranteed way to get a refund.
Go to steam and say – they just deleted all my progress since launch. Two months of work gone and I don’t want to start over. Refund please. Game and in-game cosmetics money.

sometimes actions seems bad because viewer don’t understand motivation. If we will imaging that AGS want to make players quit and cut their costs? In this case they are very effective team.

What, so they can’t go to an RMT, buy money, then buy Voidbent/BiS gear off the TP and automatically be the strongest? Or have their rich company donate them a full set (probably duped)? At least they’ll have to level up the gear for it to be useful now.

So what about the legendary weapon quests?? You can get a 580 weapon pretty quick after hitting 60 but now its going to be shit until you get to 580 WM, GG Amazon

It’ll level up with you. By the time I did the weapon quests it was pointless, because I could just buy a better one off the market, so I used them for like a few days max. Even then I was like 540 gear score by then, it wasn’t that hard. The difference at that point isn’t that much, it’d be like 5% max depending on your other gear, it could be less.
People keep going on like it’s the end of the world, but it’s such a minor change in your damage/protection/attributes.
Nice to be on a server with a healthy population.

Elites are being tuned down. A group of 500 gs will be able to do them and if you aren’t able to you can make an orb and do 55 plus content… this system give you options
So, normal working people like myself, who were very active in game are at a point where their gear is pretty good. They are working through all of the roadblocks that have come about with the development process. They have some 200s and are working to others in crafting. The grind got harder on that, but hey its ok right? They made some coins in the process, bought upgrades to their gear, but are still plugging away at HWM. Due to the recent changes, HWM got soooo much harder, and now it is required to get a full blown Zerg to get through a session of HWM grinding. In the end you may get a piece or two of HWM. But, its ok, cause it will get there someday, we bought up some pretty decent pieces to hold us till we get there.
These people now will get clipped down to their HWM on power level and all of their progress grinding up mats / coins to buy decent gear is gone. I could not have thought of a worse way to do this TBH, hats off to you. Now we will be weaker, pushing longer, to get back to what we worked for earlier. Sounds pretty bad 
LMAO, people will just ask and slot you based on it. It happens now with level and reputation, but easy enough to require people to state it. War leaders are always going to gate it based on how well they think you will perform in the war.
I guess Amazon want to kill the game as people will quit because of this - There is already too much grind in this game.
Instead of stupid ideas they should concentrate on “END GAME CONTENT!”
