Is it because we’re the only build to make you mix up your GA/GH meta?

What was the actual problem with heavy healers? I had tons of times where I would get rolled because people focused on me for once instead of mindlessly mashing buttons like they normally do. Now you have crap healing across every activity in the game.

All we did was keep players alive, and now we can’t even do that. So now the healers on your own side can’t keep you standing because one heavy healer in OPR on the other team made you seethe, not because he kept killing you, but because you had a hard time killing them.

Why, because you can keep teams of DPS alive. It doesn’t make any sense for healers to be tanky. They should nerf healers further by a lot more.
Right now you only need 5 click spammers to kill a healer, as opposed to 7+. I’m sure you can cope. If not, play GA and be amazed how everyone and their mom can outplay it but they’re crying on the forum worse than raging obese feminists. Or, like the masterminds of this forum say, “git gud pleb”.

That’s the roots of healers in Dungeons and Dragons, New World is not a D&D title, so that has zero relevance. New World has opted to allow players to define their own build without restrictions other than limited stat points, as such they may need to reduce or buff certain mechanics from time to time to ensure the balance between weapon trees. This is what a large portion of the last update was about.

Its not very hard. If a healer heals a tank, he is mostly unkillable.
They block a lot from incoming attacks, so healing a tank obviously denis the most dmg.
You can be a tank and a healer at the same time.
Just put like 200 points in focus and 200 in constitution.
Healer can still use potions by the w8.
In outpost rush I saw a lot of tank healers, they used one spell after that I couldnt see their health bar, because they are at full health. I dont have the best equip but i had 300 stenght.
It felt very balanced if my enemy was constantly full life.

In D&D you cannot spam unlimited healing spells. In this game you have mana instead of a finite # of spells and even then your mana basically fills up as fast as you can use it.

D&D also didn’t have massively OP AOE HOT spells. In this game you have an AOE that acts like a mass cure serious wounds spell that lasts for 10 rounds.
