I don’t think there’s a need to be antagonistic. If you profess to be so good, you should at least be able to show that you’re mature. Not cool. Sorry.
But during the levelling phase, won’t this just feel like you’ve 1 weapon? It did when I played LS/Hatchet. Although LS light attack was overpowered and made the combat dull. The hatchet was for the cheat death mechanic.
I think I want to try different chrs with different load outs. Then I’ll see what I like across the board. Sword and Ironing Board is peaking my interest at present. Especially as the ironing board is new. I’ve an itch for the VG too though.
This looks more like what they call Solo Self-found in POE and other ARPGs except there it also means no grouping.
I have always thought of “Ironman” in games to mean you die, you delete.
Hard to keep up with game terminology these days when terms seem to morph daily to mean whatever you want it to mean and the misuse seems to be highly contagious lol.
You are more than welcome to make up your own rules.
The god of gaming won’t strike you dead but you will, obviously, have to deal with the odd Muppet.
that’s the PvP thing right? I can imagine that’s a bit rough!!!
I’m actually a bit excited to be starting this soon to be honest. I think until there’s a server that enforces the rules, we have to take responsibility and act integral to our starting plan for our chr. Can you imagine finding a super rare item worth millions and then not selling it on the trade post? I think that we will end up throwing so many items away.
I do wonder about chest runs though. I wonder if they should be permitted? H
Aye, just in case you change your goals.
I don’t know if you saw the video above but his shed space was full!! He threw away something like 500+ potions at ones stage because they weighed to much in the shed. it’s a pity you can’t give stuff away. Maybe TP for 0.01 coin would be a good work around?
Before I deleted my old chr, I tried to log in and give my stuff away, as I often do when I delete a chr. No one responded to me, so I had to delete with 10k coin a and a shed load of great farmed mats!
I’d like those weapons but they just look silly in my eyes. It really breaks the immersion. I get that some people love the HUGE appearance but sadly I’m not one of those. More so when everything else in the game is so ultra realistic. It almost feels like it’s a mod.
In the early World of Warcraft days, people played Ironman to burn time before a new expansion released. Their criteria was usually Common gear only (greys/whites). They had websites you could register with so bots could scan your profile to see if you were complying.
One fellow went as far as a Super Ironman challenge by making it to max level without taking any damage.
Aye, I recall a lot of shenanigans back in the day. I don’t recall the one you mention but I think there were so many. I recall a troll fist fighter making it to max level just punching and never using a weapon.
On my first PvP server (Haumarush; spelling?) I took a a starting rouge to the hi,an starting area to have low level PvP. Of course you weren’t PvP flagged until lvl 20 or certain areas iirc I think but you could always self toggle though. Fun times.
