Be serious. This is nonsense.
I really don’t think the game needs MORE rent
After the patch today you can now buy/sell across every territory. This to me is both good and bad as each territory essentially had its own market and pricing. Yes you would have to travel to that market or spend a few extra gold.
However after having excess of 1 product and trying to lower the cost you have to end the listing then relist it. When I go to relist it is saying “Settlement Storage Full” which is indeed true as I am trying to lower the price in this new market across ALL territories. The settlement storage being full used to not effect the trading post. NOW it clearly does. What I am listing had been selling and had no issues selling it when it was just in the one town.
So this has caused an unknown issue due to not being able to list the items on me or in my storage.
All my storages are full from buy orders… What am i supposed to do?! Throw my things on the ground?
I can’t even do that in some places since there’s a limit to how much you can drop in an area as well…
What have you done? Why do you turn off our trading post for those of us who provide liquidity to the market???
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO (I can’t even go out to gather now) when our inventory becomes full from items not selling or buy orders filling.
Here is an idea to fix people using AH as storage… don’t allow people to CANCEL their order while inventory is full. They have to wait for it to time out… allowing someone to snag it and posting at a high fee has never been viable due to fees.
This change makes so little sense to me that I have logged out and will not log back into the game until it is changed. Playing the market is the reason why I play this game… so from my point of view… from this change… I can not longer… literally… play the game.
Hey yeah, i also just made a thread about that:
ah sorry let me be more precises… “will be full of crafted T5 items” not talking about resources but honestly does it make any sence to lose some of your precious 100 buy/sell slots to lower tier items that no one wants because everyone is looking basicly only for 600 GS items?
I really am enjoying traveling around the world emptying storages when things expire in towns. Can’t sell in everfall when weavers fen is overflowing…. this is worse than I thought the change would be.
u can still sell u can just not sell it out of storage just take it in ur inventory and it works test things out before u cry ^^
Not sure how they might be thinking here. If an auction doesn’t sell they end up in your town storage. If that goes over the max limit, you are not allowed to try to sell them again unless you go under your limit.
Maybe items that are not sold should be kept at the trading post for let’s say 2 days, and if you don’t pick them up, they simply vanish.
Scenario:
You want to post something in Everfall, but you see a notification that you cannot sell due to overflowing storage…
Farmed 10000 iron ore and posted it in Mourningdale 24hrs earlier.
Farmed 10000 rawhide in Cutlass Keys and posted it in Cutlass Keys 24hrs earlier.
25% of it ended up selling.
The post expires. Rawhide and iron ore sent into your storages. Your storage is now overflowing in 2 towns on opposite sides of the continent.
What do you propose I do?
Please do this was a terrible change. Honestly makes me not want to play the game. We need to have the ability to create sell orders when our storage is full to have a way to create space in our storage so we can keep playing and enjoying the game. Not being able to create a sell order when the storage is full leads to nothing but frustration. You are forced to juggle items on the ground back and forth from the trading post and storage over and over or run items back and forth to other settlements which can take over 30 minutes to over a hour of nothing but running items back and forth.
yeahh i was stuck with this issue yesterday as well, i bought items first, bought a few too much by accident so i couldnt move anymore, “no problem, ill sell items”- was my thought, well it was a big issue bc my TP auctions expired so my storage was overfull - so i coudnt add new listings, like WTF?! so i had to drop items on the ground. How can a team think like “oh yeah great change!” this need a change 100% its terrible.
they are trying to solve deflation by making us throw items on the ground and stare at a wall for 5 minutes until it despawns.
before I trade I love throwing my inventory on the ground in a neat little sack. very immersive. such fun
Makes you want to quit? I did quit over this. Literally so upset after wasting 400+ hours of my life just for this to happen. Wish I had known and never played to begin with.
Not to mention the serious deflation since they merged TPs… even without any knowledge of economics and markets knew this would happen lol. Everything is tanking hard.
Imagine if gold transfer is disabled, then 3 days worth of grinding got dumped on you… lol
Yeah that’s definitely why everything has depreciated to half their original price… and continues to drop even now. It’s the TP merge and not the 3 days of grinding. Previous pauses did not depreciate this much.
I recommend also write something to my post, so we can share that message better! I agree, that this patch is total garbage.
Returning player. Not logged on for 5-6 weeks or so, and not much prior after sinking 100 hours in a couple weeks nearly.
Gone for a month or two. Work busy. Really began feeling the urge to play some new world again, miss the nodes.
Log in, verify gold from completed sell orders posted at the time does not come anywhere close to gold in possession. My shed is over 1000% capacity and I’m encumbered as to not be able to move.
Prices look really good. Wow, I bought so many things for a fraction of what they’re listed now! Time to make some gold, deck a house, and get back on that 60 journey (while hitting every single Prof node. Always.)
