After the most recent patch in New World I have been experiencing extremely high CPU Usage anywhere from 85-100%.
My Specs:
Rtx 2080Ti
i7 9700k (Water cooled)
32gb ram 3600mhz
750watt Gold standard
installed on a 1TB NVME SSD
These are the steps I have tried but have not worked:
-Updated/reinstalled all of my drivers (Including Windows 10)
-Configured Power options in Nvidia control panel, Power settings and task manager
-Set all Graphics to low
-Set all graphics to High
-Verified integrity of Game Files on steam
-Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
-Played in Windowed mode
-uninstalled/closed unnecessary apps in background
-Maxed FPS to 30 and 60 FPS
(checked temps and they are all fine)
As a result of this 100% CPU usage bug my computer keeps turning off and turning on again a second later. Could anyone help me solve this issue and when will the New World devs fix this bug that’s been going of for months for many people? My computer is sooner or later gonna get damaged from playing this game.
