100 Focus, where is the 10% yield when salvaging used?

I wonder where this is gonna be helpful with

Sadly it doesnt work for the old Sandpaper t3/t4 ( even tho u “salvage” them ) maybe a bug?

What else gives u enough material to get the 10% working?

The old refining mats is a 1:1 convertion being done by “salvage” mechanic. It was problaby never intended to be impacted by the 10% salvage yield. And I think that is fair since you dont downgrade the item for crafting mats.

ye ik but it is still a salvage and the only salvaging, where i think u could get a benefit.

dont know anything else that u salvage in “bigger” amounts to recieve anything from having 100 focus

Well there is a lot of items that you get bonus yield from salvaging. All types of armor/weapons, furnishing items, food etc. But its only worth respeccing if you are leveling a profession and salvage hundreds or thousands of items in one session

but it doesnt make sense to me, u maybe get like 4 infused silk etc back as maximum

4 x 1.10 is 4.4, which should be still 4.

I have no idea about the math and the breakdown of what you should receive. So I cant help there, but if the 10% yield is bugged i would really like to know so i stop wasting money on respec

i might craft some items today, so i could salvage then…

Mothers love statue or wicker basket is pretty cheap crafts that you can do big volumes of for testing

Its 10% per item not per craft - rounded. Anything that salvages to one item will always be unaffected because 1.1 == 1 (i.e powder horn) - when salavaging things that give multiple (i.e fish which can give 5+ filet per salvage) this actually becomes useful (well as useful as a fish filet).

May be it’s only for fishing salvage??

to get more filet?

Consider fishing is the gathering profession related to focus the fish salvage actually makes the most sense.
