100 Life motes per Wyrdwood Wolf, 150 earth motes from the bear

• Describe the issue you are experiencing: I get around 100 lifemotes from chopping one “Timeless Moreloup” (the wood wolf in restless) close to Lambent Muskeg. From the bears in the same area I get around 150 earth motes.
• Is this a bug or an exploit: Im not sure if its intended, but it seems too good to get 100 motes from one animal

Working as intended, you can squish the motes for quintessence.

i farm a shit ton of this and sell it to buy order… i make 5k gold in like an a hour… motes price will drop like crazy… maybe 0.01 each by tomorow

its not in the patch note. also the did change the size of the area for the lodestone bear… and the amount of bear spawn also increase.

I honestly still think life motes are still a bug, because you can literally get tons of motes and quintessence to the point that they become almost worthless.
I know on most servers the life quintessence is sometimes cheaper than the life motes themselves, because of how easy they are to farm and how rare they are ever used.
I should never be able to buy a life quintessence for 0.20.

TBH, they should review all the mote to quintessence loot tables from enemies to make them spawn at better rates. With all the other more pressing issues, players have not even complained about this.

I have been actively tracking prices on servers to get an idea of things. I don’t know where specific things spawn or additional uses, but in terms of pricing on these elemental items, here is my take:
It seems that overall the Water, Earth, and Life Quintessence would be horrible to craft, since you can purchase them for a much cheaper rate.
Soul of all levels seems to sell at least 20% higher compared to the other elements for all motes, wisps, essence, and quintessence.

Before the Patch 1-3 T5 Quints dropped… It takes 60 Motes to make one quint so the math is right. Will it help you in crafting XP yes… but the math is sound.
