At least they added more score for taking points in OPR but they didn’t touch the dmg to score ratio so people will still statpad with bows.

Balance patch will go to the ptr first, it won’t go straight to live. This is a live update.
It will most likely be Spring Patch at the end of this event.
I would call for June on Live Server if everything goes well.

And if you take off your shining, white armor and it’s glow will no longer hinder your vision you will realize my point is not about it hitting live servers straight away.

I think that by directly linking readers to todays balance patch notes, you may have mislead me to believe you were asking “why isn’t weapon balance being included live in this patch”

I wasn’t. The idea behind this post is to point out that we are in a poop meta for months now and there’s still nothing of value on PTR let alone live servers. It’s not a Q&A.
Hopefully it’s all crystal clear now.
Are you both really so thick and can’t read between the lines or just trying to derail the message on purpose? Obviously I want the balancing patch to hit PTR first but it’s still not here after months of waiting.
Yes, this is a rant. No, I don’t need you two to explain to me how patching works. Yes, you can go and spread sunshine and cheer to others.

PTR notes usually drop on Thursdays I think, so a couple more days before we see anything I would guess.

Maybe you should erase your original post and post this if this is what you were trying to say instead of expecting everyone to “read between your lines”. Communicating is pretty easy if you state what you mean in a direct, clear concise manner.

Balance patch will be included with the entire spring update which will come most likely in april.
They were talking about the ptr. Which is coming out in 2 days

You might be right. We certainly could both be realy stupid people with a low IQ who both misunderstood your post in the exact same way. And your post could actually be perfectly articulated so that no misunderstanding can come about when we “read between the lines” but it’s also possible that your post is misleading your readers to think you expected a balance patch to be implemented in this live patch release.
Feel free to reflect on your word choices as little or as much as you like 
I appreciate the clarification and I hope no one else misunderstands your post. I genuinely didn’t want to “derail” a conversation, just wanted to help keep players informed about balance implementation processes.
It Seems you are already well informed of how the balance patch will be implemented so there’s nothing constructive left for me to say I guess

Chances are balance update will pop up in PTR end of Feb, then ptr will prob be up all of march, and then get sucker punched in April. Then we won’t see another balance update till October or next year.

This is obviously a rant post and you + @Saint_Dale_X figured “hey, we probably need to explain to him how patches work, looks like he needs some guidance” or something along those lines or am I wrong? You guys have 0 feel of the room, like none.
Certainly we can’t exclude this as a possible explanation.

The balance patch is within 7 days, the devs said it would be going to PTR at the end of this month, have some patience. This patch is not the balance patch.
So because it’s “a rant post”, that means you are allowed to be unclear. Got it.
Like I said in my original post that you flagged, you are on this forum enough to know how balance patches work and you shouldn’t be surprised.

Just searched for it and I found the post, 14 days ago they said they were planning on having the balance changes on the PTR at the end of this month.
