1k for spot on group

So made orb sellable and required for every team member to enter. This could at least “clear the air”.

Orb is exchangeable in game. I buy them all the time (I’m lazy and don’t want to do all that stuff you key crafters do, I’d rather pay the small tax up front).

But exchangeable orb is only a half of the half of the solution

If New World is 25% off then maybe Orbs should be 25% off?

Laz not Genesis are not challenging at all…trophies and all that? I run those dungeons in trash luck gear, never die, and heal quite well…they need to hurry with the mutations

Not worth straining my one brain cell, being a player who plays games without a single thought of “making a profit”, but would rather make friends, have fun and help newbies. Hence I no longer play the game, preferring other proper MMORPGS where the playerbase enjoys helping each other and having fun. Real life is the place to make a profit and be a success, games are for playing.

It is not the player base’s choice to charge for the tuning orbs. It is designed like this.

Many people have already told you that these orbs cost.
Many people have already told you that you get 300g per boss kill in the dungeons and you actually make more than 1k.
Many people have told you that no one has a problem with helping a crafter get his money back.

Why are you ignoring each and every advice in here?

They already quit the game before hitting level 60, that’s why. They apparently don’t play NW yet come to the forums to post about NW. Interesting.

Selling ORB is ok. I would make them tradeable.
But players need a way to earn a orb for free even once a week, or get a free entrace once a week.
This content is locked behind money - I like it and don’t like it at the same time. One time weekly limit should be given to everyone for free.

That is a good suggestion. Non tradeable orb once per week.

Keep in mind that the current system will change at the January update tho

So I see every one wants to not farms key and enter dungeon for free. Leeches everywhere. “I want endgame content and someone has to farm it for me for free” yo get lost. Go farm stonecutting 200 and craft some keys, then get a couple of members like yourself who quit mid game and all your farm get lost. Enjoy your smart ideas.

Don’t you see that this game is all about the “average” player and small guilds feeding the large ones for free ? The whole tax system, and that includes those dungeon orbs for me, is made so that you have large guilds insanely rich and not caring at all about everyone else.

Yeah, each time you craft something, every house you own, everything you do in a town makes that big guild even richer so they can gear their members from the AH for free while you play the game the way it should be played.

I predict a massive loss of players once again when they will restore the housing fees in January.

I am not a group of people speaking = they (plural)… I am speaking for myself = she. If you want to discuss me with another person at least have the decency to use a singular pronoun.

You’re right I don’t play it anymore, and I guess it is interesting, if only for the continuing life of the game, that many players have stopped playing…around about 800k, and a lot of those players still come to the forums as they, like you, paid for the game, no more, no less and are interested to see if it can ever improve.

It looks highly unlikely, but there’s no harm in keeping an eye on the game as it blunders from one debacle to another, and the community manages to find some new thing to fleece/grief other players and boost their egoes by imagining they are the top 1% and were born knowing the mechanics of the rather appalling dungeons in this game. Unfortunately a lot of the main storyline is locked behind expeditons and those who haven’t the benefit of all the level 60 content for making gold will be hard pushed to pay for entering a dungeon. Another pitfall of the game, everything is based around level 60’s but content up until then is very sparse.

Who knows? It may get better, the greedy players will get fed up and move on sooner or later and the devs might actually start listening to the playerbase. All “what if’s” but that’s life.

Look for the go around short cuts, you can grab your runes by killing or distracting one mob after resetting all of the mobs between you and the chests. It is best to duo it so that you have an insurance policy for oopsies, but it is faster than slogging through to get the extra trash chests for sure.

Yeah I just skip up and solo the priests when the cd is ready each day, it’s just that one extra thing on a list of a dozen things to do each day nowadays. Playing the time gate lotto

You can’t form an opinion about the state of the based on the forums.

When did you quit?

I will always think this is a crap mechanic. Here’s a fun dungeon with somewhat challenging content. Want to enjoy it more? Go repeat the same increasingly dull time sinks forever. Enjoy!

I’d like to add that some of that stuff sort of comes along “naturally” and without yet crafting a single Laz orb, I’ve got enough of the loadstones, chisels (I’ve started to buy them when I cap, which is frequently but these really aren’t the bottleneck at all), spores and totems to make about 4 keys.

And I’ve played daily since launch.

4 keys (mainly limited due to the loadstones, because who runs portals every single day “normally” unless the game forces you to, which it obviously does now).

That is, of course, if I start making the keys now and am willing to wait 4 weeks before I can use them all.

It’s shit. Sorry. But it is. It’d be somewhat OK if none of that stuff was BOP as it would then generate a market value. But it doesn’t work like that so the market value is this weirdly vague 1k or whatever you have to charge (and I do not begrudge that people do charge) just to enter a dungeon that should really be a daily thing we enjoy doing without any hassle.

Fun taxes are horrible game play. This is a fun tax.

The whole system is garbage and I honestly am just hoping it’s only there to slow progression while they prepare mutations and have them stop with the horrible key grind.

Wow. As if I were supposed to randomly know your gender sitting behind a computer screen. Decency? Ok, Karen.

How about having the decency to keep these topics related to the thread? I mean, since you wanted to run your little Karen key-board warrior fingers I’ll just leave this here:

Imagine living under a rock for seven centuries :joy: Goof ball.
