GUYS. That’s my point! GOOD TWO PERK GEAR SHOULD BE EASIER TO GET. I also think three perk gear should also be easier to get. I’m just saying BiS gear should be hard to get still, but everyone else needs to be easier. Also the 625 system is crap. Progression is super boring and feels worthless. I agree!
We don’t all NEED BiS gear though. If I’m wrong about that just let me know how and I’m willing to talk about it.
If you want to exit the conversation that’s fine, but next time you want to have a conversation, you might want to try arguing in good faith instead of misrepresenting the other person’s position. There’s nothing “mean” about me calling that tactic out for what it is.
In group pvp, your gear matters a lot. The side that has geared up their people with millions of gold coming in every week, has a better chance of winning wars than a company that doesn’t.
There are a lot of sweaty average-geared players that do well as an individual and do poorly in wars.

in the current set up non of it is earned in any way shape or form.

not a single part of that requires any real effort. (owning a town is the only one that sort of requires some effort but a lot of it is sitting and waiting with a arguably better rate of turn overs now than it was before but it doesnt undo the cash taken from the previous iteration. and even then it rewards only the upper echelons of the company)
start throwing specially pattern parts (aka you need multiple) on various exceptionally hard world bosses, big ass pvp events, super dungeons that are actually challenging and cant be cheesed in under 16 minutes and then we can talk about earning things)
in the mean time timeless shards should have two modes. 1 perk 1 mod for a chance at a lego. or 2 perk 1 mod for an always purple craft that has true control over how you want to play your character.
especially if dungeon replicas are going to remain bop. it was a great idea to have strong limited perk pools there but you ruined it by making it bop.
the market could of been flooded with good enough purples by now.
It was hard to say that without sounding like I think mages are just stat padders . They have their place for sure. And that’s to pump out big numbers… and because of how points are scored, they rank highly. When I see a mage on top that has more kills than assists I’m like “oh they’re built different” lmao
A BIS GA costs 800k+ because Grav Well is too powerful, and the entire point of a GA build is to pump out more Grav Wells while dealing as much damage as possible with auto attacks.
Getting rid of the 300 STR bonus or removing/reworking Grav Well seems to be the only way out of this ridiculous dynamic.
refreshing move outside of spear is a bis perk. only because spear is designed to have low CDs
Twatting strikes is bis because no GA worth their salt is going to not be 300 STR and its a permanent 12% bonus damage at all times. ether auto attack grits or abilities with grit.
keen, vicious, keen emp, functionally works with the rest of it.
a GW rework that doesnt remove GA users from the pvp pool wont change anything.
even removing the 300 str bonuses wont change much as abilities and all heavy attacks have grit anyway. it just means GA users will need to never use light attacks unless its absolutely safe. but it wont change the price of BIS axes.
