What is this about? I’ve only managed to get two casts thus far, both from diamond gypsum because I couldn’t get 10 in an hour of farming after taking a topaz flask, and BOTH “bumps” were minimal–+3 and then +2. My Fire Staff is sitting at 515 now, and it’d only gotten to 510 after a couple dozen Myrk runs pre-patch.
What is going on here? I thought AGS increased the minimum amount of expertise gain from gypsum casts?
it is 2-5 at 500.
I believe at the higher end it tapers off until it is only 1 or 2.
I got two 5 point bumps today from 510 to 515 on my ring and 510 to 515 on my amulet.
Oof! Same here. I wasted my time grinding it at lev 63 mobs when it drops more from lev 60s if you can kill many of them. Obsidian was more random than I thought too. Disappointing.
It’s 2-5 rolls until 580 where it goes down to 2. if I remember right. 590 is max. Which ags has yet to clarify if 600 GS items will downscale to 595 in 2022.
Eh… Gotta get more elite chests to see many bumps. (the cooldown is super annoying tho. I’m literally waiting in front of a chest for it to activate -_- But gypsun system is much slower for me.)
Normal chests hardly give bumps now.
You could also try lev 60 dungeons. They give tons of bumps now, or so I heard.
Minimal is what I got for my boots. From 587 to 590 it took 3 gypsum orbs.
I read somewhere the bumps would grow the higher you were. Well, each of.my casts gave me exactly +1.
Yeah, feels unrewarding.
At least don’t give me a lock . If I could have just dumped 3 on boots and be done with it I wouldn’t mind. But I had to wait 3 days
wtf! They said minimal was gonna be 2 on 580-590. Well, good to know. Oh, I heard Devs were gonna raise expertise to 600 soon.
Btw raising expertise on armors is much faster looting elite chests. Tho it is much harder to do solo now. Weapon bumps can be annoying rng hell (like I had a gap of 30 expertise on my weapons) but still can see bumps with chests.
However, I find Jewelry to be the worst to rise. So I’m using the little gypsun we get on them. Otherwise, I feel I will be looting chests for several months after maxing out armor and weapons.
Time-gated stuff always disappoint 
They need to at least add more methods (which they implied) and instead of hard cooldowns, implement diminishing returns(taking 1 orb, then 3, then 5…) so that we can grind the activities we like and see some progress.
Also, cooldown resets gotta be made universal sever-wide. So tired of waiting for these weird cooldowns on everything.
At last 5 point you will only get one bump rofl.
Well still better than going in myrk everyday without knowing if it upgraded or not.
Tho I would request for topaz and obsidian gypsum to be more lenient, they grind on those two are just stupidly time consuming. Amethys… is fine I guess… since I need corrupted shard anyway?
visit 3 trees in village and you get also gypsums(3 max).
