I don’t think it is supposed to work with voidblade.

Isn’t voidblade a magical melee attack and not a melee ā€œweaponā€ attack? It would be too silly if you could get grit on an already ridiculous weapon.

Thanks, you can also convey that my great axe does not increase damage at 300 focus. I think you are a good community manager who understands the game. Thank you

 void is a intelligence weapon…

@Luxendra

This is a perfect example of why people are so bad at OPR, I mean really how smart do you have to be to figure out why a magic weapon does not class as a melee weapon.

ok mr smart guy i just ask the will replay don’t need to be salty opr is for kids grow up and play some wars

so even if it’s intelligence weapon maype i wanna play 200 int 300 str

even then who cares.

yal found a weird interaction that normally would of never been found in this spaghetti code good job ya weirdo. (not an insult)

it don’t say magical mele atc it’s say summon void energy that convert your basic atc into melee damge and any mele damge with 300 str should have grit

The 300 strength node specifically says ā€œattacks with melee weaponsā€ so the grit is only applied if the weapon used is a melee weapon.

Void gauntlet is a ranged weapon and voidblade is a magical construct made of concentrated void energy which looks like a ā€œbladeā€. It is just a ranged magical attack imitating a melee weapon. This is why it can do damage per second on hit.

Void gauntlet’s skill text specifically says ā€œconverts attacks to meleeā€ and not ā€œsummons a melee weaponā€.

exactly this.

300 str => Light and heavy attacks with melee weapons gain Grit
Void blade => Summon a blade of Void energy that converts your basic attacks to melee.

Void gauntlet stays by being a classified as a ranged weapon, but the attacked converts to melee attacks

Void gaunlet is a mage weapon that scales with Int and focus the feature with strength wouldn’t be recognised with this weapon.

Even if this did work… why would you want that anyway?

A better question is: why does void blade have a 4.5-5 meter heavy attack lunge, when the GA was reduced because it was too much of a lunge, and it was 4.5-5 meters? member?

my bad for trolling but yeah, the guys saying it’s not intended to work this way with 300STR makes sense as to why your VB doesn’t gain grit. otherwise, VB would also be tuned with STR as a damage modifier no? that’s what I’d assume… if VB was melee and classified as such, then it would scale with STR regarding it’s damage output. I would think but I dunno…

I’m just gonna say, this is working how it should…

What about hatchet? Do you have grit throwing an axe at 300 str? Because it… Is… A melee… Weapon… Lol.
