37% of the playerbase lost in the past 30 days. Let's re-evaluate the priorities and come back in january with a new roadmap?

Irracional changes, what do you expect… First they introduced Brimstone Sand update without most expected changes → war exhaustion and slot limitations per guild in war. Then they announced date of it, people did preparations dedicated to those changed, a day later they revoke those changes, but not fully, so a lot of confusion happend, then they moved the date of activate back another confusions, missunderstanding between guilds etc. Bug which is not allowing players to play defence WAR if you he was already in Offence that day, or vice versa.

Together with all of this, they introduced the limits for defender 40 members from 1 company, for attacker 25, which is totall no sense, makes the games 100 times easier to attack that defend, what leads to double, tripple declare and taking towns without fight, defeders are not able to fill roster. This attitude killed all of the small companies, turned game in to something what is hard to even call. Before was bad, but after those things is even worse!!! It was said on the forum it’s gonna be that way.

If they want’s to balance something they need to make things equal, if attacker can have 5 groups of mercenaries, defender should have the same. If they wants a Territory to be clan event, because mostly specific clans are those who gettings profits from it, let it be, remove from Territory systems all factions, make it fully clan or fully faction, not combined where clan need to use faction, but after all clan is the one who have profits, so in 1 place they asking people to play as faction, cooperate each other and the other side they gives profit to 1 guild, whats leads to a lof of prolbmes between companies, and introduce to game a lot of dramas, toxic behavior.

I coul talk about this for hours, to explain them what they doing wrong, but this is pointles, those people who making decisions there are having no clue about the game they doing.

Ahem, completely unfair comparison

You sure you want to compare BDO, a MMO where you can grind a character in PvE for 18 hours of less and be gear capped for Seasonal Forced PvP channel and T1 Node Wars, and Equalized Arena of Solare? Is this really the hill you want to die on?

Less than 14 hours from character creation in BDO to get to top teir gear for entry level PvP. While in New World you’ll be grinding PvE for hundreds if not thousands of hours just to get to entry level PvP ready status.

BDO is only grindy if you make it grindy. New World force you to be a PvE slave for untold hours.

4real? Is the BDO pvp good?

With gear like this you gonna be one shoted in BDO, trust me I played that game for about 2 years with breaks.
I really even doubt you know about AP and DP brackets in BDO and how much or less it gives at specifics brackets.
For example your 245 AP gives only 48 extra AP.
Soft cap for this game is about 269+ AP I guess and it’s not even week or two of farming, definitely more because for every AP from gear at late stage you have to grind or spend insane amount of money.

You are no serious threat at this stage.

I’m guessing you don’t know Gear Capped T1 Node Wars easy capped at 235AP, normal capped at 245, and T1 hards capped at 261 AP, and Seasonal Openworld PvP channel exist. I’m also guessing that you didn’t know that the new EQUALIZED Arena of Solare pre-season just started a few days ago.

My 1 day 9 hours 46 minutes season character as you see is well over the maximum gear cap.

All of which just made your last point mute.

A F2Per in BDO after a maximum of 30 hours of PvE grind will be complete threat in the Entry Level PvP modes in BDO. Where in New World, you are looking at a few hundred hours or more of PvE grind before you can reach a gear status to start to compete. Unless of course you pay RMT vendors hundreds of USDs for boosting services and gold to just skip the grind.

BDO and GW2 are the only two MMO that I feel are worthy of PvP players attention. In my opinion, PvP in both are good in their own way.

Nah I know what you are trying to do… the thing is you hardly play BDO if you are going to say Arena and T1 Node wars is Endgame PVP…

Like I am sorry I am just done with you, I have played the game since NA launch… I have been with BDO on its journey to what it is today… so yeah, you don’t understand what you are talking about honestly.

Pretty misleading to compare “entry level” BDO PVP to basically getting BIS gear in NW. You can absolutely be a threat in casual PVP modes in NW as soon as you hit 60 and buy some cheap 2 perk purple gear. The gap from fresh 60 in 2 perks to 625 3 perk is WAY smaller than the BDO gear score gap as well.

NW needs way more PVP content and focus but these arguments you’re making for BDO vs NW gearing are very misleading to someone who doesn’t really understand.

Nah it’s too late to back pedal now! You should have just owned up to your at best mistake.

I love when people expose fearless on the games he constantly promotes in this forum. I remember a guy doing the same with Albion as you did with BDO. It always makes me smile.

And yet I still have more AP then you do… tell me you don’t know how to gear your toon without telling me you don’t know how to gear your toon… SMDH

I will gladly promote a better MMO any day of the week.

And instead of just admitting that you was wrong. You’ve decided that this is the proverbial hill you want to die on.

Damn, shame shame shame!

It was not misleading, since BDO does have entry level PvP venues. Where NW only has the uncapped gear PvP venues.

I’m not even going to go into the amount of time to get to lvl 60 in NW versus getting to lvl 60 in BDO to unlock equalized gear Arena of Solare pre-season.

NW does need more PvP content, but as we all know. That will not be coming anytime in the near future for NW.

All people need to know is within a max 30 hours of PvE grind in BDO. They can compete and be a threat in entry Level T1 Node Wars, Seasonal Forced Open World PvP channel, and Arena of Solare.

How many hours on average does it take for someone to reach a competitive level, in the entry level PvP scene in NW? That’s all I was saying.

From what I’ve seen it’s pretty fast now. Bunch of people did it in 1 day when fresh starts came out. I think your perspective on the level grind maybe based on how it used to be? It definitely used to be a journey…not that I think that is a bad thing personally but I’m from EQ/DAoC MMO days.

The gear progression system in BDO kills it for me every time I try to get into that game. I have Striker, Giant, Guardian, Sage, probably more I’m forgetting all at soft cap and once season is over and it’s time to upgrade gear beyond that I absolutely hate their whole gear system haha. Haven’t tried since they finally added Solare though. Used to drive me absolutely insane that the MOBILE version of the game had a MMR arena while the PC one basically only had RBF get stomped by whales mode or open world ganking.

That’s why I ignored him totally after he responded to my post xD
Waste of time.

Majority is PvX. Both pure pvp and pve are minority. So moment you decide not to deliver any pvp content you dont affect only miniotiry pure pvp, but aloso majority that is PvX.

Player drop is related with no pvp for next 6 month, but not only. Major drop is thx t o amazon refusing to merge FS servers and leaving ppl with out option to transfer. It iss a mess i would expect from ags.

It really is nice to see.

He used to make disingenous arguments about ESO also, until I and ithers who actually know and understand that game called him out. He doesnt use ESO that much/at all in his "examples’ anymore…

Sounds like they are in fact having issues with consistency from the latest dev video among other things.

They more or less confirmed they have work to layer on top of what’s there.

I’m curious what your take is with the info they provided.
