4 PVP suggestions to make the game fun to play

These suggestions I came up with are mostly related to the end-game PVP content and how to stop it from becoming stale.

  1. Make unowned territories [Edengrove, Great Cleave, Shattered mountain] forced PVP. It makes no sense that such heavily contested, resource full areas, have no risk associated with them unless one makes the decision to flag.

  2. Add another tier of PVP flag - FFA flag. Being FFA flagged will enable you to attack and be attacked by any player who is also flagged [regardless of type of flag], whether they’re in the same faction as you or not. Anyone who’s ever been on the dominant faction knows the pain of not being able to do anything to someone whos farming your resources just because you’re on the same side.

  3. Add internal conflicts. This will help stop the server from going stale because of one side dominating. Right now, the only way to remedy the situation is for one dominant company to switch sides - not a very appealing solution to most.

What I mean by internal conflicts is - if a Covenant company declares war on a Syndicate company and I, as a Covenant player, really don’t want Covenant to win the war I should be able to join the Syndicate side of the war. This will open the door for negotiating between factions and it’s not just straight up “everyone but us is bad”.

This would also open the door for mercenary companies that would fight for the highest bidder no matter the faction.

  1. Make invasions a major event.

Currently, invasions are nothing but a nuisance that does nothing but delay wars. The consequences for losing are nothing and most people just throw 10 minutes in to save the time while still reaping the rewards. Not to mention they happen so frequently and delay PVP wars from happening by 1-2 days every time they do. Why do I have to wait 4 days for a war to happen just because some mundane AI event is taking place every 3 days?

Losing an invasion would cause the company holding the town to lose control of it completely - it would turn grey just like Shattered mountain, Edengrove and Great Cleave.

Instead of a company purchasing the now unowned town like they did on release - every company that wants control of the town has to do PVP missions and once the bar reaches 100% the top 2 companies [regardless if they’re on the same side or not] who contributed the most % will engage in a war.

This war would be different - it would still be 50v50 and have the same 1-2 day preparation period, but it would happen in a certain instanced area around the town & fort and it would be an “open world” TDM with the company who has the most kills in 30 minutes gaining control of the town. This would ensure that no one side has an advantage like current Attack/Defend war. The company with the strongest players and best shotcallers would rightfully claim what is theirs by might.

Naturally, invasions would become a lot less frequent due to this.

Bonus suggestion - Make knockdowns count towards kills if the knocked person dies for whatever reason. Counting finishes just promotes greeding other peoples kills.
