Just popping back in briefly. I keep tabs on NW like that friend you had that where the friendship kinda just decayed because it wasnāt going anywhere. Most recent check was depressing with my old server being 1/4 of what it was right after the merger.
(I uninstalled after the Mutator update literally broke my installā¦ and just didnāt bother reinstalling as all I had been doing for the 3 weeks prior was logging in and burning Refining CDs)
I might reinstall the game once they figure out the desync issue, add cross-region transfers, and add Greatswords.
Just too many times raging out of PvP because of the weapon swap bug. It could be a really fun game, hope it survives long enough.
(If it tells you anythingā¦ Iām enjoying the HELL out of DDOā¦ even if it is absolutely nothing like when I first played 14 years ago. Itās basic, but it works.)

DDO is Freeā¦ but much of the content is behind paywall so one might as well pay the sub to play more than a few hours.
(And I completely removed WoW from my computer and the payment options from Blizz. They get me back with Worgen Shamans wielding swords (1H or 2H) with a 4th spec for tanking- and since theyāre likely to be āmaintenance modeā before that happensā¦ I donāt see playing WoW ever again.)

Right now it has a population somewhere around 2-3k
Itās hard to get new players because there is very little solo content. (Thereās plenty of content that can be soloādā¦ but not by a brand newbie.)
lets be real bro people didnt kinda go check out LAā¦ they were dying for a new game - most of the servers were abandon the past few weeks. Pretending this was expected and all of this āits just part of the life of an MMOā is really in that "dont look up " category just saying
I am actually confused that people who play New World try Lost Ark.
These are totally different games.
They have nothing in common and I do not like Diablo style games at all. Much less that anime style stuff.
Probably all those people came to New World by accident and did not even understand what kind of game it is. So they would have left anywayā¦no harm done.
