The taxation system in this game is absolutly horrible.
Nothing else to be said.
Im a struggling crafter with bank space problems and money earning problems that need to pay rent on 3 houses to landlords outside my own faction. This because i need them for transporting goods from banks.
Horrible system, and im starting to get to my limit of whats acceptable in a game.
Its a chore, not fun at all.
150 Weaponcrafter atm.
So many ppl saldy know: The first 3 Faction Missions you finish and collect give 10x the Amount of Gold of the shown Amount. so a Faction mission with 25g reward gives 250g. Economy is not broken. The ppl need to learn how to farm effectivly gold thats the only Problem
No one will make money from crafting in this game in the long term. There is a bit of a gold rush right now if youâre among the first to be able to craft storage chests and so on, but thatâs not going to last.
Anyone can go to a crafting station, click âcraftâ and get the same item you can. I know there is a bit of a grind getting the skill to 200 but that, too, is not going to last. Everyone will get there.
Gathering materials, processing materials with bonuses. INVESTING YOUR TIME (the crafting itself takes half a second) and TRADING THAT INVESTED TIME for gold with other players. This is the only source of income on the gathering/crafting side of things.
The only valuable thing in this and any game is time. And you can trade that with other players. Using gold as a currency.
It goes into the owning Companyâs treasury, to pay for taxes which easily hits 20k+ depending on the level of fort add-ons and crafting facilities. My Company owns Restless on a busy server and we can never earn enough gold to cover these expenses. We get the fee from crafting as well etc.
If you reach lvl 60 and most quests are done i want to see where you get tax amount to pay its redicilous.
There is no way to get azoth per kill also coins too town missions give too little too its not worth grind if leveled up i did it to lvl up but sorry later on its not worth for few coins.
Game economy just collapse near soon selling some items and never sell them.
Coin supply in game is limited so towns go bankrupt same as players.
Players reach soon to some point if no coins anymore and what next then. Then real grind begins like dungeons. PPL not do much dungeons but in somepoint in there grind begins.
All the players who say that you can just grind through quests and make a load of money are probably the ones that are not playing casually and therefore sit at their screens for 15 hours a day. The costs and broken economy kill the game for the casual gamer or those with a limited time. Rent is usually paid monthly so where did AGS get this 5 day window. Are you trying to simulate the grief people have in real life which is why they come to these games as an escape. Shame on you!
Love it, I gotta farm azoth, gotta farm gold, gotta farm for orbs for dungeons. When can I enjoy the game and not have to work for the game, oh gotta farm for gear score.
Funny how every time someone post this the number those quests give goes up. They most often give 10-12 gold, x10 that is 100-120 or 360 a day for the average player, so not even the 2k every 5 days needed for taxes on the largest house in most zones instead falling 200 coins short of covering those taxes, let alone taking into account repairs and other things people may need to spend on.
Given those quests can take 30+ minutes to finish and the average player who has a job and things to do in life is not getting to play 8 hours a day that leaves little time to make up the other money needed with the prices things sell for currently, even worse for those who can not time being on to get money from invasions, or do not PVP to gain from wars.
Can you tell me where this 25g reward quest is and is it a solo quest.
My taxes are 300 per day on one home, I donât get to play daily so Iâm always in the hole with taxes.
Right now I walk everywhere due to being locked out from home, expecting eviction any day now. At least I still have my tent.
I disagree! If you havenât been doing your daily faction missions you shouldnât be complaining about a house tax being too high. Do your due diligence, as this suggestion will only devalue gold and azoth.
Not only do faction missions in a level 35-40 area and higher give 360-480 gold each day, they also boost your territory standing and allow you to reduce your property tax.
At level 51 territory standing I get 32.8% reduced property tax on my t4 house. Without the faction bonus itâs only 900 gold every 5 days, with the faction bonus itâs 700 gold every 5 days.
Do your 3 daily faction missions at a lvl 35+ region for 360-480 gold each day. It only takes 5-10 minutes to do. If youâre a casual gamer then perhaps stick to a t1 house.
The only reason this is because you only get the faction discount if you pay the tax in person. Otherwise the territory standing discount applies while paying it remotely. At level 51 territory standing the tax for my t4 with faction bonus is 700, without itâs 950.
When I expressed concern over the cost of fast travel and having to walk between storage locations to manage inventory, I was told to buy a house. This is why I didnât buy a house. All of the folks complaining about taxes.
If you do your daily faction missions for 30 days, you will be able to pay for the tax of three t3 houses for half a year! I donât see it as a chore, I see it as creating value to storage/azoth/gold.
