I have reported that there is a bug on the loot roll of some bosses:
I also have farmed ambusti, for some corrupted rage gear, did it for 10 hours, no single drop. When I changed to light armor it dropped on first try, then a second time when I was leaving.
I wish anything I farmed took that long. 0 luck and I’ve gotten everything I ever went out for within 2 hours or less EXCEPT " the last prophecy" INT amulet. Solo that boss alot…WTs…still can’t get it. The one weird exception. I was literally at him on day 3 of FSS and trying since lol
Im pushing 60 hours, and it kills me to know that I have a possibility of other weight classes dropping, like Light or Mid. I need Heavy.
I am an adult with other responsibilities; I do not want to feel like I’m being taken advantage of in a game. I love the game, but this is uncalled for.
Even IF the enemies dropped any items other than potions, that would be great. I have a very low chance of some potions and a green every hour… it’s not right.
This is not going to be what you want to hear, and I guarantee someone will argue. To get those 6 pieces from the mines, get some luck food, and grab a full luck set, with pearls, bags etcetera. Put together a group that can do a circuit, and kill quickly.
I did nearly 200 hours with zero drop rate on harbinger before I broke out my luck set, and defiled rabbit feet. I had all 6 drops in the next 8 hours afterward. Good luck better you than me I am never going back to the mines again.
Yo, honestly I removed all my luck gear put on a focus set and I got four pieces of the harbinger set within 2 hours. Unfortunately they were the two dexterity and two intelligence pieces, but the drop rate dramatically increased after I switched off from the luck set. Just in general drops, there was a significant increase. I strongly believe that there is a flawed design in this area for these drops. It doesn’t make sense to get higher tier items with significantly less luck.
From my understanding, luck does not increase the drop rate but increases the item quality. From this basic knowledge things do not mathematically make sense.
Today I swapped out to a no luck gear set that focused on focus and the drop rate and rarity significantly increased on drops. I hardly saw any more potions and the majority of the drops were green, blue or purple and some mats. I got four pieces of the set today within 2 hours after switching to my focus gear. Something is broken in this area. I did have a full luck set up which after I got the four pieces I put back on and the drops reverted back to the majority being potions. It just doesn’t make sense. I’ll be back tomorrow. Trying to get the heavy set.
No argument there, if you do a fast search I say as much in another thread trying to get them to look into that very same thing. The only thing that worked for me was the above. I tried multiple different builds before going full luck. When I went full luck it was like someone turned on a faucet.
Another thing that I’ve researched yesterday is that those sets are currently dropping as no-named, so luck will only decrease the chance of getting it b/c you will have more drop of named ones
I did notice that! They look like a regular purple which in turn would be lower quality than a named item.
I was coming to that same conclusion that luck might be a negative when farming the set. I opened a ticket with Amazon support and they said it is working as intended. I don’t think they are completely aware of what is going on since the named item is literally not represented as a named item. Just like Diamond heart in that area. Same case, a named item not represented as one.
I immediately recognized the design of pushing players to be healers. The majority of the gear that drops has Focus on it. I also noticed the game has a strange design where it will push gear to you opposite of the role you’re playing.
I can see the benefits and the cons of that design.
