Strength 50 attribute bonus states “10% damage to physical light and heavy attacks”. This does not work for bow or musket or any other non strength based weapon. The label is either wrong and needs to read Strength or melee weapon or the 10% buff is not working as i tested it and the 10% damage is not being applied to bow as bow is physical thrust damage.
build wise if you play bow with hatchet going 50 strength would make sense as the 10% physical damage increase would make up for putting 50 points into it over going more into dex at 40 percent ratio over 300. However the label is either wrong or its not working hence the bug post.
yeah, thats a good point but currently there is no good reason to not go rapier with bow, its literally a get out of jail free card. Going hatchet for instance especially after the buff makes next to no sense, ur main dmg and always should be ur bow, melee shouldnt even cross ur mind. After they nerfed adrenaline rush I see no good reason to run hatchet bow, even defy is useless if u dont have any skills to evade.
I have played bow rapier for a year. Gotta spice things up, rapier is a pretty boring weapon too defensive not enough damage going dex rapier. Might just be me, but i find spear does more.
