About all I do is OPR, Arenas, and Wars.
Will do mutations only for shards I need for pvp gear.
Also, played Runescape for 2 decades…and only did pvp.
I doubt it as 50% left by level 30, plenty of content but they would have a good idea of the basic genre of the game.
PVP needs PVE and vice versa.
How can a PVP player craft gear without resources that a farmer (PVE) collects?
What’s the point of doing dungeons if you don’t have meta changes in PVP? A PVE set for an expedition doesn’t change ever, so you just do your build and done.
PVP players transfer to pop servers and PVE follow after a while, why? Market prices go down, no one buys your asmodeum and ori ingots.
End game of new world isn’t pvp but the game ends with PVP, simple.
Just check messages of people asking for merges and transfers, see the reasons why.
To all farmers and PVE players, don’t dismiss that high pop servers are the pvp ones, so stop saying its not the main factor people play this game
I haven’t finished playing yet but the one OPR I have done was definitely my last ever PvP, simple.
Maybe for you but there are a lot of people, including myself, for whom PvP is not only not the main factor, but not even a factor at all.
The gathering in New World is top notch, easily the best in the gaming industry. I can go hit trees and before I know it several hours have passed

How many hours do you have? I like this game, but almost 5k hours, the only thing that makes me stay is pvp and meta change.
New dungeons are cool, the rest is dull and the reason why people stop playing, you basically do the same things over and over again.
What pvp gear do you have?
I’ve seen lots of new players in opr with PVE gear (death screen shows their weapons, from PVE weapons to PVE gems, to perks that aren’t relevant). So, spend coin or more hours, get your gear and have fun. The loop is very nice, I went from heavy SS, to mediu GA, to medium spear and now I’m light ss and also mage. That’s the end game.

can we agree that season exp should be awarded for all gameplay modes that we grind :3 instead of having to do a rotation of pvp/pve to do our cards and chapters
If u play arena alleine only, that’s a sad life
1,987,456 trees. As a lumberjack I am upset I can’t chop 10 trees and get 100 levels

Nope, that obviously was not me. I have never said I do PvP and in fact have said on several occasions that I only do PvE.
Nope again. I played both public betas and have played new world every day (I may have missed one or two) since launch. So not being dumb.
I play arena all day every day and that’s it I don’t like opr. I like small scale competitive pvp, on COS we have a dedicated discord for arena people where every nite we have pre-made 3v3 arenas where we randomize teams and Que up and keep score. We also do tourneys with 100k prizes. If you like pvp then all those is is wars, opr which is pve mostly and arena or open world
Just not a fan of tab target design sadly, also bdo is purely gear based, doesn’t matter how good you are and it’s p2w to reduce your fail rates and strait up buy underwear that gives you stats and glasses that have stats
You’re right that NW is p2w… The only people who can afford the bis gear are the top war companies and anyone who buys gold. The average player (most players) will never afford it.
