Someone introduce Shano to the powder keg, please.
What CD reduction bug? I only know the berserk cancel thing.
Refreshing social distancing reduces all cooldowns upon hit. An elemental weapon perks will double proc it. So you can have 40 percent ability downtime on all abilities in hatchet tree if you got your throw (2*30). Attunement is the most consistent way to proc it double, you can also use shirking.
No other ability with an elemental proc does this hence it almost certainly isn’t intended and intentionally utilising it is an exploit. People are changing their builds just to use it.
The text on the ability needs changing aswell more like refreshing torrent if that is how it should work. Description isn’t accurate ATM.
Main problem with this is that a bis hatchet has attunement perk and that is what double procs this and makes the ability broken.
A bis geared player becomes even more of a menace with an unintended weapon perk
Do you think it would be fair if people in heavy armor were getting the most kills?
They don’t lol, that’s why most of them cry about bow, musket, and light dex in general.
They just won’t stay still, so unga bunga can get easy kills.
Well, people getting the most kills are usually playing ranged (because you can pick your target easier) or are using light ( because you can chase if needed and have the extra damage )
I don’t remember any range playing in heavy and unless heavy gets the same dodge roll, they can’t really get the most kills.
So I can’t really say if it would be fair for heavy to get the most kills since this is close to impossible
Regardless, no one is complaining light is getting more kills. Is it easier though, of course.
yeah place a keg and one ice storm destroys it xD placing kegs is useless they get killed too easily before they go off xD same thing in wars agaisnt a semi decent team you should never be allowed to get a keg off on a door because one ice storm kills it
Huh. TIL that kegs can be killed.
(I’m always on the other side of the door, giddily dumping mats into the door as 15 red team members ask themselves “just how many mats does this guy really have?”)
Homeboy almost made it a full minute into the video without exploiting the cooldown bug for hatchet.
was this even a very competitive thing? i thought that arena tournament was just people who had the time/could show up? maybe im miss remembering.
the people getting the most kills are the better players. no matter how the meta changes, the most skilled players will stay at the top, and meta changes wont change this
How are people still discussing this as if the games combat is in any way competitive or has enough mechanical depth that being the ‘most skilled’ (what does that even mean here) or having the ‘most kills’ actually means anything.
I wish people would stop with the awful music in these montages.
This video showed me nothing about SnS and all about the hatchet. He could have paired anything with the hatchet and done fine.
He is a good player, but he is also playing with a pre made group from what I can tell and pre mades always stomp in opr.
I think they had to cut slots because they couldn’t fill them and also had to accept walk-in entries.
Wrong, the increased dodge distance played a huge part in making light viable. Before the changes, a full light roll could be followed by the tracking on a GA light attack. Now it breaks all melee tracking on all light and heavy attacks.
yes, light roll distance was hidenly increased due to transition was made smooth in past patch.
thats when the light armor meta really began.
but most important is the hack like hitscan and broken mortal empower perk.
Every weapon is good with light armor, even bad weapons.
This is a good point. There are some super basic strategies that make OPR more enjoyable.
For example, I harass the other team’s spawn point, if we don’t already have, as soon as I have my 3k points. Me tying up 3 or 4 players means they are not attacking other points and it maximises the chance of 2500xp return. With one or two other players we can often hold the spawn point for quite a while, particularly if the other team doesn’t regroup before attacking.
I am grinding the PvP track so the only thing I am worried about is maximising PvP xp. If you have other priorities, like trying to achieve highest number of kills, then you would be trying other strategies.
