Equipment attributes at 600 currently:
- 5 Armor pieces is 125 attributes at 25 each
- 3 Jewelry pieces is 75 attributes at 25 each
- 2 Weapons for 60 attributes at 30 each
260 from gear, 190 from levels is 450 points.
Add in 40 from food for 500 and 5 passed 500 for each stat you’re specc’d into because 5 stats at the beginning.
This is how I think AGS could get their desired result without convoluting the system or screwing over gear.
If they added 5 stats to armor, 10 stats to jewelry and 5 stats to weapons to make them +30 on armor and +35 on weapons and jewelry it would become 310 points total.
30 * 5 + 35 * 3 + 35*2
Armor → 150
Jewelry → 105
Weapons → 70

At level 1, take away the 5 on each stat and have them start at 0 stats with 25 stat points unallocated and give a bonus 10 to make it +35.
190 + 35 = 225
This turns into a 550 point attribute total due to +30 on jewelry, +10 on weapons and +25 from armor and additional attributes given at the start.
+325 for gear.
+190 from level 60 makes it 515
+35 from 25 points not being forced plus added 10 to level 1 bringing it to 550.
Add in 625 stats makes it 560.
Change attribute foods to Combat Bonus Foods.
Don’t even include attributes in the foods.
unless the people want 600 stat totals then make food +50.
why can't food be +50 stat points?
Attribute foods can be combat bonuses themselves based on attributes.
- Str Food = 10% Light and Heavy attacks
- Dex Food = 10% Critical Chance
- Intel Food = 10% Critical Damage
- Focus Food = 10% cooldown Reduction
- Con Food = 10% Health
All the split stat foods turn into a 60%/40% split of their 50 stat milestone counter-part.
For example: Dex Foods
→ Dex only turns into +10% critical chance
→ Dex/Str turns into +6% Crit/+4% Melee Damage
→ Dex/Int turns into +6% Crit/+4% Crit Damage
→ Dex/Con turns into +6% Crit/+4% Health
If weapon aligns with the split stat food, they get a bonus 5% damage.
Consuming Dex/Str food with Spear gives +10% damage while Hatchet or SnS only gains +5% damage.
The opposite applies to the Str/Dex food, 10% damage on Hatchet/SnS and 5% damage to Spear.
Dex/Str/Int/Focus/Con only do not have +% to damage on any foods.
This can also help with balancing specific weapons.
