560 stat points, why not?

The typical build is 500 stat points total.

We have 5 on each stat for a base of 25 stat points that are forced into allocation. At 623 and 619 GS we gain 10 more points for a total of 535 points.

I would love to see 550 stat splits to help with mixed attribute weapon builds and more con allocation in certain builds.

My suggestion is removing the base stats of 5 each, and add 25 to start the game so a level one has 50 points at level one and the rest stays the same to give us 560 stats total at 623/619.

The extra 10 points is so that a new person coming in only has to get 600 for 550 as we have now with the 500 stat split.

300/150/100 con builds along with 300/200/50 con builds giving more freedom for builds. Maybe even a 300/100/100/50con build.

cause there would be crazy people that would dump 650 points into DEX and 1 shot you with a headshot from a bow

560 you mean? That’s fine. With 0 con they would get 1 tapped by a musket. Muskets counter Squishies to a hard degree. That’s why they’re in this game.

Speaking of this… Muskets should do high damage but be susceptible to physical resistance nullifying them.

Something like extra damage reduction post 1k armor or something. And bows should have armor pen so that bruisers and tanks are unphased by musket, but bow users are still viable against them.

Higher total damage on musket but more damage reduction against high physical armor can create a specialization for them rather than them being a nuisance and flys on the wall that shit all over your house.

Diminishing returns also only give 39% each 50 points.

500 is 539.5% so 550 would be 578.5% base damage modifier.

100 con players can reach 461.5% already and 50 con players can reach 500.5% already. It’s not that bad. Especially if we can run 350/200 Con bruisers or even 300/250 bruisers.

150 con light armor users can run 250/150 and 300/100.

The DR you get from putting more than 300 on dex leads to significantly worse results as you’ve claimed. It’s better to run 300dex/200con because you only gain pretty much 5-10% extra damage from putting more dex and less con.

It’s 39% base damage per 50, but yeah. I think there should be additional DR’s after 400.

They cant even properly balance the little bit of crap we have. All the weapon combos that could potentially happen would further worsen the already terrible balance by doing this.
