580 sword quest boss broken Morzul The Herald

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Morzul The Herald keeps setting or killing himself after less than 30seconds into the fight blocking any progression on the 580 Sword and shield quest.

Update:

He is still broken but we got a large 50man zerg to attack him and we were able to kill him within 15seconds so he didnt have time to reset.

Yep im standing @ it right now and it resets every few meters.

How can an important quest like this even be bugged, lmao.

Here are the vids of him resetting over and over and despawning. Hope you can help as im now stuck in progression with no 580 sword or shield.

Hi folks, I have passed this post along to the game team. Hopefully, they can get this fixed so that you’s can progress through this quest asap.

If you keep him pulled to the left or right of the oricalcum vein he doesnt reset. Source; killed him 5 times.

@Pneuma just an fyi, its not exclusive to just that server i think its a full game bug right now, as we tried on vega in eu central too and it instantly resets over and over too

I have spent so much time and azoth on this and now I can’t finish it because the Boss keeps resetting plz fix asap

Have the unspawnable boss at the top of Malevolence, the fact that the shield mastery quests interrupts the Edengrove quest line that leads to the Genesis orb there, and the non-stop spawns in the Lazarus quest line in Reekwater (Paths Unseen is where I made it to) also been passed to the dev team? Sorry to ask here but this is the only similar issue to the three above where I have seen a response saying it’s been passed on. Like these guys and the sword, I can’t finish my warhammer mastery, nor can I get a rare Genesis or Lazarus orb from questing. Running out of 60+ content.

Confirmed same issue on Belovodye.

Please fix this asap. Just increase his non retreat area to the entire arena please. Spent hours on this questline for the sword and am unable to finish this last boss because he will literally retreat if pulled more than five feet away.

Bump :slight_smile: - Hoping this can be fixed in this weeks update considering its a huge road block for multiple quests!

If not it would be nice if they can add a quest to the chest under the ore next to him.

would be not that “hard” like fighting him but we must go there to do the quest…

And so we can finish it.

AGS please if you dont have time or cannt fix bugs like this add a workaround until then … PLEASE

7:20PM EST 11/3/2021 - Just killed the tentacle and the boss de-spawned after multiple leashing back to full health. Still bugged, please fix!

How this is still a bug over a month into launch is beyond me, this literally stops you from getting a 580 weapon if you use sword/shield…After the many patches that have rolled out and the amount of time this post has been active and still not fix, we aren’t even asking for a fix if there is none, add some sort of work around. Allow us to get the item “Heart of the Maw” needed from the small chest in the back portion of the area he is in, something simple like that could go a long way until the fix comes…
