The costs for taking 59x gear to 600 is not with it, way too many shards needed which are really hard to come by. If you have 59x gear, due to the requirements of M levels, you are pretty much left doing M1, maybe M2 for shards. It would take forever to get enough shards at these M levels to fully upgrade one 59x item, don’t even think about your entire gear set, see you in 2024. And by the time you have the shards you will probably have replaced that item with all your bazillion dungeon runs.
Going from 600 to 601 is 1 shard, then things increase from there. I think the system should be changed so that 591-600 only cost 1 shard each as well. Give the casuals a fighting chance dev’s.
I strongly disagree. I hate the umbral shards system but at least this makes some sense. There’s plenty of guys with 59x named items from their pre-patch DGs out there, if they reduced the amount of umbral shards you would see people becoming insanely strong in a matter of a day.
I think for named items that get a bonus perk the current cost is fine. For epic items where they only gain an extra attribute point at 600, the cost needs reducing.
I’m thorn on this… I think the price is a little bit too high right now… But it shouldn’t certainly be as low as 1. Maybe a compromise somewhere in the middle.
Forces a PvP-Player to do even more PvE, since there a no rewards for PvP, except in Wars.
Then I need to upgrade at least one PvE set for mutations and then at least one for PvP.
I love to grind more mutations. Said noone ever in NW.
i agree with you, I have now stopped playing because I’m a musket user and cant do mutators at all due to musket being trash in PVE content. I have done 70 + gen runs and not seen a 600 Infamy the best I have is 696 and I need like 250 shards to upgrade to 60 at 3 shards a day from the gypsum box, I don’t run mutators nor do I ever want to as its shit boring scripted fights, I want to push territory, play OPR but because of this patch, I cant play the game how I want to now.
