you do realize that you can get 600GS gear with reciliance and other beneficial perks right ? meaning your “520 Faction PVP BIS gear” isnt BIS (Best In Slot) its just good

Open-world you can push your watermark to 591, that is the limit there is no infantismal chance to go above.
Lazarus & Garden of Genesis can increase your watermark above 591 but you have got to clear them hundreds of times to reach 600.
We have a group of 4 people on the server who scam healers into using their key to let them carry the expedition.
Afterwards they spam global with the new 591+ items they wanna sell.
Cool story but most items are BoP from the expedition ( even the greens) and the boxes give low GS.
i mean how is it a scam if they successfully take someone through the dungeon?
The game is not hard capped at 591.
For gear drops (which are excessive), your character gets the watermark set to 590 if you play a lot.
Since most things can only upgrade you by 1 at that point, you get 591 drops, but since the cap is 590, you can’t go past it.
This doesn’t effect crafting, and it doesn’t effect drops that aren’t affected by watermark.
This is an intentional choice to limit progress and keep some separation from the top drops and crafted gear. However, it is small, probably too small to matter. It just ends up seeming frustrating because it was very well hidden.
Expedition Bosses always drop stuff that raises your HWM is the essence of the dev post.

Pretty sure this is not correct. I’m very close to maxing all items and confirm this. Saving one last Lazarus Orb until then.
They don’t raise your watermark past 591, game is still hard capped at 591 making it impossible to get legendaries
I bet you need 3 major luck trophies to get above 591….
Somebody got 600 legendary on the lvl60 expeditions
Also, humans are notoriously awful at handling statistics objectively. We “feel” all too often to not have a biased perspective
Yeah because entering Laz dungeon with a popup containing 5 legendary items is not supposed to make us biased.
And the crafting system is broken atm. This is just pure BS
Crafting should not be as op as it is since you can buy gold and buy the legendary crafted item take notes from RuneScape the best stuff should come from the hardest quests or hardest pve content .

I too have never gotten anything above 591. Reached that on 4 slots so far.
