To me this is why pvp doesn’t work. When people go against people they will use every means to win. Whether it’s ethical, honest or close to fair. And the excuse is always, well we have to because everyone else is doing it. It invalidates what could be a fun form of playing.

yeah and when I pointed this out a month ago, the community flagged me with this same shit and I got a 24 hour ban just for pointing this out on the forums.
I feel bad for you man, but I’d be telling your guild to screenshot EVERYTHING, document EVERYTHING and send it to AGS after reporting them.
Theyre exploiting game mechanics, so report them for it.

Better record the whole time you’re playing this game so you’ll have proof if anything happens lol.
Anybody abusing the report function should get a 1 week ban for first time offense and a permanent ban for the second. This is no different than exploiting.

Wow sheesh, how does one even play the game for 700 hours in such short a time span? Anyway, I’m really sorry this happened to you.
They’re working on weaponized reporting. Right now they claim that all reports are human reviewed unless there are are a large number of reports, then an automated action occurs to remove a bad actor immediately. This obviously seems to backfire because it can be weaponized on innocent people.

That was patched out originally it was and then they updated it to not be an automated system.
so you can get on here and tout how awesome you and your clan are at the same time you accuse your competition of flagrant abuse of rules asking us to just believe everything you claim at face value with no proof whatsoever of any wrongdoing or badges to assert your dominance on your server? In that case I want to inform the people here that i personally saw the abuses that this person claims were done to him done by none other than his own clan, i dare say he himself was using the food exploit. At least in this case you can see that someone is talking @!$t about you with no proof. Just go play and get some concrete evidence before you shed crocodile tears here.
Amazon stating this doesn’t happen is a flat out lie. Many people have been unjustifiably permanently banned for various things like chat “abuse” and coin selling. The neckbeard trolls with no lives are winning the war here with the mass reports on legit good players.
Amazon should frankly be ashamed and kissing the feet of everyone who sunk hundreds of hours into this game only to be perma banned for something they didn’t do. Nobody should be recommending this game to anyone at this point and everyone should be writing negative reviews on Steam.
This is not acceptable and Amazon is tanking their own game and showing the world they have no business being in the game business.

If you watch general chat, about every one to two minutes someone types something that clearly falls into the “reportable” criteria. I’ve seen racial slurs, anti- commentary, personal insults (directed towards others), etc. I’m sure most of those people probably don’t think they’re violating the rules, but you should take a close look at what is reportable. It’s a lot of stuff.
Basically, people need to follow what your mom should have taught you: If you don’t have something nice to say, better not to say anything at all. General chat is pretty toxic, and so I can’t say I’m surprised when I hear about people getting reported and banned. The whole “mass reporting” for a ban is nonsense.

Here’s the exact problem we have on our server.
This is a clear example of how the enemy behave. In my post i state no names, no guilds, no nothing. I just generally state that the mass-report fuction need to be solved so that NO ONE can dictate if you’re allowed to play or not, it should entirely be up to moderators and not player-to-player. So for you to take a “deffensive stance” and ask for me to bring “evidence” to even state that te mass-report function is a problem just goes to prove my point that someone took it to heart without even being mensioned, along side that also falsely accuse me of cheating by using the food buff exploit which to me is a great compliment since I’m good enough to made you think I’m cheating, so thanks for that and stick to the subject. No crocodile tears from me.

Iam gonna assume you are from one of the companies who mass reported us since you said “i personally saw the abuses that this person claims”. Iam not gonna state what company you are from as i dont want any drama tbh.
If you mean Dominate then i know for a fact he has never abused the food bug. Hes not really “tout” about how awesome our company is. He is saying what was going on at the current situation where these guys were attacking weavers and we defending. And from our perspective we were wining those fights. We really dont mind fighting people over territory who ever they are. Sure its annoying to fight exploiters but we still do if we have to.
And what do you mean no proof? like sure we arent providing screenshots but everything that was going on during that push for weavers was logged. The person saying “enyoy the mass report fucker” is in their system where they can look at. Which would help if i remember who said it or took a screenshot of it.
There was legit no hard feelings when we lost first light to the same company but as soon as we managed to defend mourningdale we got accused for cheating when one of our players got the bugg where they cant release or get finished off but forced to be revived to play again.
We will happily try to defend our territory against anyone even exploiters aslong as your not abusing a system to get us banned by mass reporting we are down to play even if it sucks for us. Which this whole post is about. Mass reporting = temp ban. And moderators not doing their work properly.

I am right there with you, it seems like the loyal honest players have been getting it the worst lately, which also reflects what happens in the real world, its sad. This game seems to bring out the real lowlife scum of the gaming world and are here just to grief and feed their power hungry egos because they cant hold power over a ant in the real world. Keep ya head up well have our day.
I get the suspisions but frankly once a moderator with log access looks into this it should become easy and clear to anyone that’s decently level headed.
A lot of companies abuse the report system as it stands to get an advantage in pvp. How AGS treats such behaviour is up to them. But I would at least hope someone looks into which company the reporters belong to, chat logs and company chat logs to see what’s actually up and act on that. Not whatever is happening currently.
Right now with no penalties being handed out this is just a downward spiral for most servers where nobody will play at the end.
