Yes. Amazon did unban all the players who used translation software 2 months ago after they were banned for a week. Many Chinese players think Amazon might not take translation software as cheats, thats why they’ve been using it since then.
I don’t think it’s reasonable to randomly ban people who love games but use translations because of language issues. If developers don’t care about this, I will call on my guild friends.
Ah. I wasn’t aware that those users ended up being unbanned. Maybe there was an update to the software that got it flagged again?
Regardless, I hope for the best for you all. Submitting the appeals could still help get it to the right place.
Thanks for all the supports mate!!
Any 3rd party software should not be allowed, even maps. We all know how maps tracking nodes via external sites. The same API atm is used by bots to get coordinates.
EULA 2.5 Restrictions.
FAFO is pretty much the net result here. TBH If they are cracking down hard on these folks for using alleged translation then those who reverse engineer the games data for data mining purposes would fit within the same remit.
LGS out here fumbling , free these fellas!
nightghostNBB from honmen company on sutekh saved me from a burning house and didnt speak a word of english #FreeHonmen
we need a response from AGS, this is a good time to show you guys care about the community for New World especially in OCE. #FreeHonmen
#freehonmen
Come on AGS, sort it out. You didn’t give Southeast Asians there own servers so they used a translator to help participate within the community. No malicious intent whatsoever.
#FREEHONMEN
They got EAC banned for memory editing while the game is running. You jump to conclusions alot.
sheeesh
Umm… mkay

They did repeat that several times in their TOS/EULA
And that has anything to do with getting EAC banned how?

Have a long hard think… it’ll come to you…
They got EAC banned by Violating EACs terms of use for modifying a protected program. AGS had literally nothing to do with the ban. And they very likely can’t do anything to unban anyone either
Tbh no idea why Amazon not opening asia server for Chinese, Korean and Japanese etc. I think there are a lot of them playing NW. As a Finn I can play on EU server and have no latency but for them i think the fps gonna be horrible if they play on EU server from other side of the world.
You know EAC is just a service that game devs use to uphold their TOS/EULA. Its job is to protect the game from memory injection and I/O modifications (well you can tune it to variety of protection levels)
This seems like a serious issue, which requires tangible, credible evidence to support it. From all sides, there needs to be transparency. Not for Forums, I feel, this is dealt with in other channels. Best of luck with your case.
