With only 8 days left until the launch of season 1, after a 5 month long content stagnation period, I’m sure I’m not the only one who is getting excited. I’m curious though, What r other adventurers most excited about in the upcoming season?
I’ll go first:
-I’m excited for pvp combat with much less stagger can’t wait to apply my keyboard input and actually get a response
Excited isn’t really the word I would use for this patch. Skeptical is more like it, trying to be optimistic. I feel like most of this patch is too much too fast. The meta they’re abruptly changing into; would have been better achieved thru a road map with a series of changes over time. So I can’t help but think that this new meta isn’t gonna last and we will see more changes.
All that being said the Battle Pass and upgrading 590 purples from OPR/Invasion/War Chests is what I am looking forward too.
Possible death of muskrats
Season pass
Pvp balance changes (Gs tracking nerf-Cc damage nerf-Less staggers)
590->600 upgrades
Basically everything coming
^^^i hope that’s the case. I see weapon balance as a kind of science. With every change they learn more n slowly, over time, things should get closer n closer to a stable state. More frequent tweaks would of course be welcomed
Oh yea the purples into yellows is exciting. R you saving caches ?
That’s a problem though imho. Trial and error is ok with some things… But not such a good idea in something like say “open heart surgery” lol. Dramatic sudden shifts in meta can be and is disenchanting for many players. So I feel it’s kinda risky.
I’m saving some chests but it’s not a major priority. It seems reasonable to believe that we will be able to upgrade anything with opr/invasion/war prefixes on them. So hopefully that logic is being applied so we can retro. I have a lot of nearly bis purps that have been taking up space for a long time. Would like to be able retro/upgrade them.
I agree. More frequent, smaller changes are better. Ags have scheduled seasonal balance changes according to their road map so hopefully that plan comes to fruition.
