I feel like needed 8k materia just to craft the first stage for one ult ability is just too much. That amount needs to be cut in half or we need to receive double the amount of materia we’re receiving from dungeons right now.

The blue runes can drop in the specific expedition, so 8k for crafting it is okay.

90% drop rate from the bosses atm. One of them you can get from a quest. Nobody will need to spend 8000 materia on them.

Does anyone know if you’ll need 3 heartrunes of each kind to get all of the heartrune variations or can you use a single genesis heartrune and unlock the three different variations with the same heartrune?
Like if I wanted the grasping vines hearthstone, do I need to collect just one minor heartrune from genesis, and then I can unlock the 3 variants (brutal, stalwart, cunning) with the same heartrune.
Or did I need to collect 3 minor heartrunes and upgrade them independently.
I’m sure that didn’t make any sense, hah.

You’ll need three of them. They are used as a component in the recipe, much like trophies when you upgrade them.
