Yeah, devs didn’t really think this through it seems. People selling group slots just to do dungeons or chest farming, tons of quests that players can’t do because there’s no one to help them, it’s a sad state even on servers that aren’t empty.

I believe they are going to merge all worlds within their respective world set.
You will not find more excitement if you transfer.
I am on Valhalla which is supposedly packed with players and some of the popular gathering spots do not even have players anymore up to the point at where it does not even matter if i have PvP enabled because there is almost nobody gathering anymore. And the few that are gathering usually talk with each other for a truce so that they can freely gather with the PvP enabled.
It is as if the players stopped caring.
How do you think this problem started?
How do you think all of the perfectly healthy servers lost their populations initially?
The free transfers annihilated the servers because they left PERFECTLY HEALTHY SERVERS for three reasons…
- Join a server with a dominating faction, essentially a free faction swap with no limiter on changing to the strongest faction.
- Rejoin the streamer servers they originally wanted to but couldn’t because of the queue of fanboys and cultists clogging it up.
- Joining overpopulated servers in fear of their healthy server being dead, thus ironically creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The bugs we could live through until they fix, the free transfers killing the servers = dead servers and dead game until the merge.
And if they give everyone another transfer token after the merges, the game is DONE.

Exact same situation on my server. Max player count in the 40’s for a couple of hours at night. The average is 10 - 20.
Though there is some loose co-ordination to keep a couple of towns stations going, Windsward being the main one. Whole territories have otherwise been abandoned with their stations now all at most a lvl 2.
There is nothing to do really. Though I know most of the regulars left so you can kind of co-ordinate dungeon runs etc.
Damn, Everfall is the only bustling town on my server so to see it empty on yours, I’m sorry 
Careful what you wish for, with server mergers comes bots, bots and more bots.
Most servers are empty man. I guess New World represents a post-apocalyptic event where everyone is dead?

Interesting update from AGS Today. Dont hold your breath. The whole structure of how towns, Factions, Wars, etc. work is just flawed. The whole design was not properly thought out and all the problems manifesting are due to a serious long term design flaw. Eventually merging servers will help, but its just a temporary patch to a flawed design requiring major overhaul if this game is to survive. But NW has an identity crisis which needs to be resolved first. What does this game want to be.
I saw this all the time on my server, had for weeks.
Now I’m one of the ones no longer playing

A server merge would just mean what has happened to your server in 6 weeks, will happen again in 6 weeks time to the new merged server.

Well… you’d think a company with that much money doesnt need to release an unfinished, buggy game and could afford a proper QA process…
Like bro I’ve played cyberpunk day 1 and it was more playable than this game.
They’ve all sorts of tech savvy people in their organisation and still mismanage this project.
For a game thats supposed to show what their new game engine is capable off they fucked this one up pretty badly

Most of the moneymaking mats on my server have crashed into the floor due to the extra luck. The only thing that can really bring in profit is daily cooldown and only asmodeum since the other ones barely have demand. It’s really silly, can’t even do OPR besides 1-2 hours during peak time as well

I sleep in the fountain now that I know it’ll take a year to max all crafting… gg’s AGS. Way to kill my crafting dreams…

You know AGS can’t do that, they let you move and don’t pay the Bezos tax they get fired faster then even amazon prime delivery
