A 5th delay will be the final nail in the coffin for lots of people

Some people already quit with the 4 delays.
Me personally I tried not to bother and I was very patient, but the 4th delay disappointed me a lot. I didn’t even want to log in yesterday.
I think a 5th delay will be the end for lots of people

Riot game launcher already installed.
Reality is game is good. But developer behind is low tier. It is not up to players to make game fun and better. Its ags job. If they failed to do their work it will be sad couse there is no other game like NW. But there are other games we all can play. It will be ags missed opportunity as game developer. If they fail this one they are very much done. Regaining players trust with next game will be super hard.

PS. NW will be studied as one of the worst managed game projects in history.

And all of this because of the Cheaterboards… just delete those, NW is not a competitive game, doesn’t even have ranked & balanced systems… since them release at least 10k players quit the game, so the impact of the update was negative and numbers don’t lie. Now because of this bs update it’s affecting future implementations too, and guess what the seasons update will not bring the players back at all !

He’s in way over his head. Seems like a really nice guy… But sadly, nice guys often finish last.

In IT does not matter if you are nice guy. Yea it helps couse you have to communicate with other ppl. But what is most important is your ability to do the job. If you lack of skills needed to do the job, being nice wont change anything. And imho ags has many ppl on managment position that have no skill require for job.

Would you be happy if people based your competence to do a job on your forum posts?

No idea what you ask about mate.
But in IT you hire ppl couse they do have skill to to job. If you have sm1 who want to learn or is lacking experience :slight_smile:

  1. you don’t hire that person
  2. you don’t put him/her on manager posion
  3. you do hire but as apprentice that will have supervisior

Or you put noob on manager position and you have problems like AGS does have.

Who wouldn’t be happy if their competence to do the job was assessed via customer feedback?

All anybody would have to do is placate my unhappy customers to the bare minimum. Do more than that and it’s free real estate.

Pretty low bar stuff. Practically the lowest hanging fruit there is when it comes to running a mediocre for-profit business.

I’d prefer they did a good job, but would of thought saying we intend trying to release on next patch day would of been a better option, if they had done it earlier they would of looked good, instead they looked like they had no idea what they are doing, leaving the player base to guess if the update was going to be released.
I’d say their biggest problem is lack of end game, then putting the end game they have behind a arbitrary limit for the week!

Would you rather have an on time result that has a known exploit? Or a late result with a fixed exploit?

Either way these forums will give them grief about it.

Would you want the benefit of the doubt in their shoes? Or would you rather people called you names?

What do you say about your unhappy customers behind their back?

A) “Boy, Im really glad they called me incompetent when I made a mistake that any human could make.”

or

B) “Karen just yelled at me for not bringing lemon with her water. Who does she think she is?”

LOL why are these my only options? Why have we never seen a clean patch?

I deal with daily and weekly deadlines every day at work. I manage not to poison anyone, manage my crew and deliver excellent results. Once in a while I might be lagging on something but it’s never for long and always excellent. Not to mention this a very rare occasion. :slight_smile: If I did not deliver as I say I do… I would not be the Chef.

This is not a luxury I get to enjoy and people call me names all the time lol :slight_smile:

I dont think I understand. Are you saying that you do excellent work (in your opinion) but people yell at you anyway because they think you havent?

No one yells at me, but I’ve been called plenty of names. :slight_smile: I don’t know what you envision goes on in a kitchen… but I can tell ya, we’re not singing Kumbaya. Btw if my work wasn’t as good as I say it is… I’d been fired, demoted or laid off. Mainly because if I don’t make the customers happy as well as the Owner… then I’m done.

Honestly I am surprised you don’t know how a customer based food service business (ie. restaurants) works.

Also we don’t have a forum… but we do have social media, comment cards and of course live face to face contact with our customers. So it’s real easy to give me feedback. But when you’re good… you don’t get backlash.

This is all I’ve said about the matter in this post. I honestly do believe he’s in over his head based purely on the track record of results during his tenure. Been here since day one so I’m not basing this on just one instance. Looking only at the entirety of NW since launch. I am not the person who applied to run NW. It is not my wheel house. I stick by what I said based purely on the results we’ve seen consistently. Scot took the job not me.

As for this, I have no idea. Perhaps you have kitchen experience, only you can say. But if you did then you surely would’ve recognized that it’s a results oriented business.

This game just doesn’t deliver, lets’s be honest the Devs behind it are just not capable of doing it. Such a shame, NW had so much potential and is killed by the team behind it… time to move on.

Not even devs fault. Its probably the executives and higher ups that only care about profit.

New World had everything to be the best , but greed crippled it beyond repair.
