Honestly, the bugs are the least of the games issues. It’s the fundamental design choices that concern me. Bugs will get fixed but the gameplay loop is a problem
Fine tuning, funny bugs (like t-posing with some weird method), balance issues - not a big deal.
Not having the last Azoth Staff work on corruption portals,
Not able to reach the final boss of the game in open world. (but still being able to bug into it)
Quick Switching Weapons, sometimes, just doesn’t quick switch but shows another weapon.
Items that literally do not exist in the game but are required to craft high end items.
Having a “can’t enter the zone” but it’s preventing you from completing your quest.
Fireballs going through the floor.
These are fundamental issues that were not addressed but should have been BEFORE launch.
Oh yeah don’t forget that you can shake the entire game in window mode and be invincible during WARS.
As others state the issue is 1) a really broken game, especially fundamentals which never should be broken were absolute dogs here
But the bigger issue is the communication, they should just stand up and say “hey players we messed up this, we’re struggeling but we’re trying our best”.
Ppl would still flame, but it would be understandable
But what they create is more a Player VS AGS situation, which doesn’t help anyone and pisses off both sides
Treating players like idiots eventho it’s their product that’s half broken is just not the way to go
And it’s not about the 40bucks of value. We all want/wanted a MMO to play for long, I personally don’t care if this would be f2p with a cashshop or sub based or would’ve cost 5 or 50eur.
LIke, make this game good and we will support it
This is the biggest problem. Some of the decisions they have made no experienced MMO dev would ever do.
mmm I think thats personal preference. It may be an unpopular opinion, but it doesn’t break a game - Just makes it unenjoyable to play really. IMO.
Bingo. The end game in its current state makes no sense. One minute im allies with the other factions, the next minute I suppose to kill on site, oh wait I just was sent to OPR, now its just a game of pick pvp with NO connection to the world at all. ???
The MSQ was oK, but then it just stops, what in the hell are we suppose to be doing and fighting in endgame? Poor poor overall game design. There is a good game to be had here since the world is immersive, the game just needs a real direction. Are we suppose to be all against the corrupted? ok then make sense why we are fighting PVP among the factions then.
Its like in WW2, the allies werent fighting each other behind the lines when they werent fighting nazis. MAKE some sense out of this game …
Or why were there all these potential exploits? Why were loot tables/luck values broken? Why are some monsters invulnerable? Why were perks straight up not working or broken? The list goes on. I do still enjoy logging in, but the relentlessness of the bugs and general brokenness of the game is starting to tax me to my limits. Their communication about it all is what really ices the cake, or should I say, lack there of. Had no idea there was a patch going out today and still no word on furniture.
Releasing games with more bugs than you can count has become normal.
Those games still turn out to be great (mostly).
The Witcher 3 released with a ton of issues. Most of them fixed very fast, very good game.
Cyberpunk 2077 was a bug infested something on release. Still a great game and mostly fixed.
Recent Battlefield release? Bugs everywhere, under every stone, around every corner. Is that a bad game? Hell no, the issues will be fixed over time.
This affects everyone, every genre of games and bigger releases suffer more just because of the scale of the game and the complexity.
This was Amazons gaming flagship and as such should of been in the best shape as possible. The errors that were made should of put the lead dev on notice but some how that tool still has a job.
TLDR
Go find me a PC game that doesn’t require patching and I might consider your opinion valid. Until then I’m going to facepalm and ignore everything you write because you’re clearly an imbecile
3557678729946655930059895 other games out there to play.
Are you gonna post this on 2345627458784567 other forums with games that have bugs?
No 1 forceds you to buy this or to play or to keep playing this.
And thats just the reality
It should not be normal. Is the whole point. Tons of indie games that deliver quality games, less problems, but don’t have the money to market behind it.
It’s a sad state for gaming.
Aka, didn’t read the post. But decided to put an opinion on it anyways.
Oops, check again. Nice try tho.
It will only be resolved when people stop preordering and will demand refunds for bugs on release as a closed community (so that means never since you can’t ever bring masses to do something coordinated).
Agreed. I think another solution would be if gamers just didn’t buy anything from the shop when released. I know it’s wishful thinking for sure. But enough bad press and a dying player base should send a message too.
I’m hoping they turn this game around fast.
bad faith actor disagrees with people who arent doomsayers. what a shock.
aka: keep crying wolf you POS spaz
