Cause contacting a service that n one likes, that thinks they’re a beacon for animal protection, while at the same time known for killing more animals than any other organization in the world will fix this right up

I’d commented not long before that I’d been doing enough mining that I felt like I’d become one with the ore. While the statement was heartfelt, I did not intend the game to take me quite so literally.

Simple google search would have worked here. They’ve killed well over 40,000 animals. It’s about 65% or so of what they ‘take in’. I am no fan of theirs.
My dude, no one is calling PETA because of a made up animal in a game. I’m pretty sure they were riffing off of the thread title.

I never liked this bullshit that MMOs do in having you kill bears, wolves, and mountain lions.
As if these animals are in some way evil? As if they represent some existential threat?

I am not using Google. I prefer Duckduckgo. I just wanted you to back up your claim because it sounded very controversial. PETA is all about protecting animal life and not about being the organization in the world that has killed the most animaly which I still don’t believe. But I am going to do some research now because I am puzzled.

I am not a tree hugger (even though my GF keeps motivating me on that term) but I am an animal lover (please don’t drag this into a sexual context…). So I also strongly dislike having to kill animals in a game. I know it’s just a game and it’s just pixels but we do not think like that or there never would be any drama in MMO’s.
But I can say that my druid character in EverQuest never killed a single wolf, bear or treant :o)
