You have the potential to be the next greatest thing. Of course, you’re going to hear the negative more often than the positive, but that’s just the nature of the internet.
I’ve been super critical lately about a couple things…bots being #1 on my list as my limited play time doesn’t allow me to compete like others. You’ve done a fantastic job lately on Castle of Steel. I recognize the “hinder” to bots being in Brimstone. It may be a slight inconvenience to the rest of us, but well worth it! I’ve been able to level my crafts from 120ish to 180ish, which is a dramatic improvement over the last month or 2 competing against the bots. THANK YOU!
I’ve played games for about 20 years…yea I’m old. You have the potential to be the “next biggest” easily, but (and everyone knows what comes after “but”) you’re not listening to the player base. You’re listening to the whiners here on the forums. I’m a bit blown away that you keep making this game easier. At the current rate, I expect every new account will start with a level 60 character and 600 GS. No joke…listen to the players, not the whiners.
The graphics, the sound, the “feeling” of this game are superior to almost everything I’ve played. The sound especially. If you guys have never played this game with headphones, treat yourselves. The “expansion” (if that’s what it should be called) is very good. Nice change of pace from what we’ve been doing for the past year. Keep it up!
The balance…well you’ll never get that right as the opinions will constantly change, and you’ll end up chasing your tail if you try. Yea, there are some things over balanced, but keep doing what you’re doing…Rome wasn’t built in a day.
Test more, make PTR every aspect of your patch. You have a habit of not putting everything in the PTR before it goes live. That’s a bad idea. I’ve got about 500 hours on PTR between accounts, and feedback isn’t always heard. I play with a group of people who also enjoy PTR and our feedback is generally mutual.
Have devs acknowledge us LIVE…in YT vids or here on the forums. Not mods in a “support” page that simply can’t offer support, but instead, direct players to a link to a dead end. The responses are “canned” and obviously not coming from someone who has any knowledge of the game. I work for Amazon, don’t call me out on this one, I know where the “support” comes from. Give us feedback from the hard questions, not the 'kid gloves" streamers you guys seem to favor.
I have not taken a break from the game, in fact I’ve played since alpha and absolutely love the game. Complaints, of course…but do I recommend the game? Every chance I get! I know you guys will evolve, and I’m looking forward to this game living up to the potential it can be…do you’re best, we’ll do ours.
