A fix to massive trade capitals

Limit the number of Tier 5 stations a city can have, IE each town can only have 3 Tier 5 stations available to them. So if they want to have a forge, outfitting station, and workshop. They couldn’t refine any time-gated materials. This would drive people to move to other towns that chose to have their refining stations as their Tier 5’s. If they spread this out, other towns would be necessary to get everything you need to craft. This also spreads out the storage burden and makes it easier to organize. This also encourages factions to work together to coordinate which towns would have which Tier 5 to cover all their bases, as well as spread the wealth out between cities much more effectively than the trade post fix.

no, increase frequency and difficulty of invasions for every successful defense. after three invasion “losses” the territory is no longer under company control and any company can attack it to own it. this will force companies to actually defend.

That doesn’t actually fix the problem. This allows mega companies that already owned Windward and everfall to just have a PvE team using all their money to get God rolled PvE sets and allow them to be the only ones on the server to actually defend for long periods of time. They can also just pay people to not fight them or to have way less frequent wars.
