And DPR was kind enough to reach out to me and give me some details in regards to their ban. He said that he’d be moving it to a Strike 2 with time away from the game. After attempting to verify his change, it seems that it might’ve not gone through.
I replied to this message several times, only to be ignored every single time. The thread was auto-closed after 30 days of inactivity, and I still have yet to get a response nearly a year later.
I contacted support several times and they said that “I see no record of the ban being changed to Strike 2”- so maybe there was some kind of automated system he forgot to check off. here’s a pic of our conversation as well, unsure if you’re able to check my forum data but you can see he reached out on the post.
Maybe DPR got fired? Or am I just being ignored? Would love any kind of response to this.
We saw some event pop up in our steam feed and thought “Maybe we should just make another post? Maybe that will do something?”
I am sorry to hear of your scenario and how you believe the bans have not been correctly applied. Unfortunately, this topic is not suited for the support forums as we do not handle bans or ban appeals via this channel.
We suggest the affected person enters their appeal in a web ticket here Appeal a Ban - Support | Amazon Games, if they have not already done so. Once they receive a reply to this appeal via Email they may continue communication via Email only. Please do not submit multiple tickets as that will only delay a review of the penalty.
In regards to the reason for the ban, they will be informed of the cause in general but no specific details will be volunteered neither will they use terminology such as strikes or internal jargon irrelevant to the end user but they will definitely let them know what the penalty is.
Hello @Fenrirskoll I appreciate the response. I heard back and yet again we have been told that there is no active suspension on StahlLIVE’s account. The reason I came to the forums is because a forum agent resolved this previous issue as you can see above in the picture I provided.
The Custom Support Jedi who reached out told us that the ban would be altered, yet it hasn’t. If you could give me some advice, since support is telling us that Stahl isn’t banned and yet they most definitely are.
StahlLIVE is their username. Please look into this if you can. Someone on the forums did this for us before, they just didn’t actually resolve it and now support keeps telling us that there isn’t a suspension in place.
I am sorry to hear about your friend’s scenario. Unfortunately and as was mentioned in my previous post, ban appeals or questions are not handled via this channel and your acquaintance’s best course of action is to continue communication via the response Email received from the appeal.
We do not have anything else to add to this scenario from the forum support section and wish you luck.
