why not makin’ a new server out of 3 dead server’s. Just checked the Server List for EU, its ridiculous how many server choices we got… Its what ive thought also when i started new world.
Oh I’m not saying not to merge dead servers, this is more specific to adding 1 fresh server (free from all the dupes and such with a fresh economy)
I still think server mergers need to happen with the current servers.

After the merge for existing servers is ready, that could be an option. Though, makes only sense when bringing in some changes to lenghten the experince up to 60. Otherwise the Server would get stagnant and boring after one month too.
-Increase population cap to about 5000.
-1/10th base exp.
-1/10th profession exp.
-1/10th weapon exp. (maybe with more passives up to lvl 40 for more variation)
-Limiting Trade Skills from all being maxed out (spezialize system for 1 in each segment).
-Daily capping of exp reward from Board Quest
-Limiting level advancement at 29, 39 … only lifting after Amrine/Starstone/… has been completed xxx times.
-And so on …

What resources would it take away to open up fresh, no-transfer servers? None.
As far as throwing progress down the drain…my main progress that I value is knowledge about the game and how it works. That’s not lost with a simple character re-start 
Why are you so opposed to this? Got a bunch of rare resources and gold stacked away or something, and afraid of people bailing to be away from ruined economies and people/companies that exploited and duped their way to the top?
It’s more selfish not to give people that left because of this as an incentive to return

Agree fresh server without a bug and exploit with no server transfer, so no player or company can run away after scheming their faction and community to other server.

Although not a total fix. What can re set a lot of power in the game is a new tier (WoW speak),sort of like a soft re set. New sets that makes the previous ones irrelevant in power (the pevious one where you dont know if it was earnt or duped). Even new tiers though have people arguing about the fact all their work is now irrelevant but I think thats the point.

yes we need some fresh servers with no transfers from other servers to these new servers allowed.
i dont think devs caught most duped items,(they didnt even ban these guys with perma ban) , so the players with duped items, golds are still playing at servers. and i dont want to play with them while i tried to play and get the items with my hours of efforts without cheating or using bugs exploits , dupes etc.
i dont want trying to compete these guys.

That’s exactly how it works, with no monthly sub and potentially <40-50k users, the costs of running servers and keeping devs on bug fixes and making new content far outway the potential benefits, and then they just turn off the lights.
I predicted that will happen in less than next year may, if not their will do same cost cutting like w3c and make only one server available in each region.

I’m playing since day 1 and i’m waiting for a new server. You didn’t notice but people duped the shit out of everything and are roaming free, selling the same item over and over again, with lots of mules full of legendary mats.
Agree, the damage is irreparably done at this point by the cheaters!
My wife, myself, and about 8 of my friends that no longer play due to the cheating are DEFINATELY waiting for something like this before we return.
New World is an amazing game but all the cheaters, bugs, and Exploits have ruined it for us. Now, with the new test servers, there might be hope for the game, at least for the bugs and exploits. However, the cheaters are another issue. WHY should they get to keep their toys and have a clear advantage over other players that played the game legitimately? The answer is that THEY SHOULD NOT!
Even with over 300 hours of playing the game, we are good with 1.) a server wipe, or 2.) new clean servers, WHEN the bugs and exploits are gone! When either of those happen, all of us will be back. But until then, we’ll just keep reading the forums and monitor updates.
I hope to see all of you in the game soon!
