Again if anyone comes across any links please let me know so I can update it in the right sections. I might have missed something important. I would also like to mention since my brain wandered off somewhere we have not talked about invasions in the game and tanking not sure if thatâs a needed thing but maybe a boss besides a bear to kite around for us to do

i cant agree more with my fellow tank comrade, for me especially in PvE taunt is so broken when the mobs start spawning but then its fine after a minutes its been spawned.
Hope we get more love.

Donât waste your time, we are asking things since 3-4 month about tanking but nothing is comming. Community gave many example of how could they improve tanking gameplay, and thanks for the effort you did.
Aprilâs patch is a joke, it could be the opportunity to do something for tank, but nothing.
In my language, we say " they pee on our face but they try to make us believe itâs rainning "
I have a idea about the tank:

Perks.
- 250 CON: when you blocking: +50 % dmg reduction, -20% move speed, generate 1000% more threat in 10m area, cause enemies in the area have fear debugger for 10s (-10 % dmg, -10 % move speed). only works if youâre in heavy load.
- 300 CON: + 50% recovery stamina, + % stamina scale with con, 50 con = 10 stamina (only work if youâre in heavy load).

Skills
- Defiant stance: âFinal cooldownâ: + if youâre in heavy load, you pull enemies close to you and cause 1 s root. Same as the âberserkâ in hatchet.

While I understand what you are saying we must still provide nothing but the best tank dominance on these forums we are fighting pretty hard bump the post make ideas everything is easier said than done there is always some sort of light at the end of the tunnel. Like I said before in my first post for me to have to come to the forums is a problem. I will be here voicing for tanks and bumping the threads so we are heard.
And yes, thanks for the effort you are all showing.

300 Con perk needs to be Damage Reflection, even if a small %. Attacks (blocked or unblocked) should return ~7% of the damage to the attacker.
This is the workaround for tanks not getting credit for damage absorption.
I know the devs are mainly worried about bots going into OPR but itâs not worth sacrificing a large segment of the player base.

Amazing post!
First off, 250/300 con perks need rework. 250 con should be changed to extra blocking efficiency, and 300 perk should be some form of dmg reduction or stamina increase.
Tanks shouldnât be 1v1 gods or able to kill easily, tanks should be stalwart defenders that can survive alone for a long time. In PvP, tanks should fill the CC/disruption role. Having enough defense to sustain being in the enemy lines, while causing significant disruption to enemy casters/healers without kill potential.
Tanks should be setting up kill windows for the dps.
As it stands, GA/WH does this extremely well, but also has stupid dmg leading to this dumb brawler meta. Sword/shield Does not do this in any shape or form, while providing less Survival potential against melee than GA or WH.
In PvE Sword is prety much required as the only weapon that can block well enough to âtank.â
If shield stam efficiency was as good as it is in PvE in PvP, Then it might be used for point men. But when great axe/Warhammer can 1 tap my entire stamina bar, it defeats the purpose if shield. It makes no sense that turning my back to a GA/WH player and holding block with defensive formation gives me a better chance of surviving a GA player than blocking their attacksâŚ
Last time I checked also the reduced stamina damage taken from attacks perk doesnât even work

totally agree, and not only that, I think there should be a benefit to HP scaling once you hit over 300, perhaps 1% maximum HP bonus for every point into Con afterwards or so, as well as 10% threat generation by every point afterwards.
