Character name change is very bad idea and will encourage a lot of account selling.
Or players who will scam other players.
Or players who will scam their companies for own profit, delete all friends and ‘start over’ with a name change.
Totally against idea of name change!

I would consider $10 fair for an appearance change voucher.
$30 for a “premium” voucher that has special options not available during creation - like more hairstyles, colors, and tattoos.
Every mmo has this and it isn’t a big issue.
It is amazing that people are asking to be charged for basic functionality that should be in game. Truly the best customers you can imagine.

to be honest stuff like appearance change and name change are paid services in many MMOS.
gw2, ESO and ffxiv to name a few.
Yes. Not sure I would pay $30. But certainly something.
And it fits in well with most of the stuff in the store which is appearance only (so no pay to win).
I think Amazon has been poor to exploit the shop (eg in not providing server transfers earlier when there were still servers to transfer to).

we are black listing ppl because their bad behavior, scamming etc.
or blocking ppl because they spam in chat or they are just d.cks
giving them right to change their names isnt solution

if you so want to change your name
then start a new char and lwl up again.
that would be at least your punishment for not thinking while choosing your name or scamming ppl etc.

if you block someone and they change their name they would still be blocked though.

this is NW everything has a weird bug
100% against name changes. Appearance changes should only cost in-game coin…or use items that can be crafted.

@Trufitus You sat at character creating to come up with a name that would be the name everyone in the world would see, identify you with and know you as and you created a name that you didn’t like?
That’s a little short sighted I think.
Some couldn’t resist the cliche gamer mindset of the minute and now they are stuck with SirUltraChadThiccBoi.

The account thing for multiple characters wouldnt work because we dont get multiple characters per account per server. It would have very limited use.
Name change thing with global name reservation i think would be an issue. Id love it if they released all the names of players after 90 days of inactivity and forced them to pick a new name on login. If they did that and released names once you change from it that would be okay.
A barbershop would be welcome for sure but they would have to start adding cosmetics for new hair and other options.
All that said this is extremely low on the list of things that the game needs right now.

Now they are not satisfied with just selling gold, they want to sell accounts too or they just want to eliminate the massive reports of hackers in OPR.
I’d be happy with just a name change option in the store. Similar to paying for a server transfer. I think it’d be cool to have a mirror or menu item in our home to change our appearance too.
