But the fade was too fast, so what? so the 40 servers each region will remain empty, no activity at all, There will not be any PVP nor wars and economy will roll down like a snowball.
Like it is different in any other games. More than half of players just join because of hype and because their streamer is playing the game. The soon the hype fades or switches to another game and streamers do too, those players disappear.
Of course there will be empty servers. Everyone knew that when they added more and more for the release. No way this many players will stay that long. There is no “fast fix” for bringing these players back. They simply didnt enjoy the Gameplay overall on a long(er) term or a simply following their fav streamer.
The real question is how they will handle the merge to help those servers out(eg. territory claims…).
So why they planned a game that huge and depend on 2k players activity a server each region if the player base will just fade, it’s waste of resources imo.

The meme used though is from a person who disregarded all safety considerations, lied to progres with a test due to political pressure and promise of self-promotion within the party.

Didn’t they stated like 100 times that they can merge small servers anytime? They also said they gonna expand the max player count per server with time. It’s just game is having more severe problems and they need to fix them first.
You can actually watch the interview of the real Dyatlov on youtube. Also there are many documents on the internet about this. The series was popular and high rated but it was some antipropaganda and many things just were wrong. He wasn’t even half as ignorant as desribed in show.
