While walking a long distance I forget if I’ve overloaded my musket. In the example I used the “fire” musket charge with the fire “effect” so it is easier to differentiate from a normal overload.
Ha, nice photoshop. The effect is too much for my taste, but it’s definitely a good suggestion.
I definitely didn’t look up “square fire border” on google and paste it over someone else’s screenshot.
if you use ur skill on musket like the overload then after its CD gets down before you shot your weapon then when you press R again you don’t get the skill use animation… Isn’t that enough indication that ur skill got loaded but not fired?
I would put the effect or the skill icon on the musket sector though. Or maybe over the character’s head.
For me, no. It also doesn’t tell me which one is loaded.
I agree that either over the head or on the musket. Honestly any indicator would be nice.
Are you people blind or what?
This is how your musket look without any skill loaded: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
This is how it does look after using power shot: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
This is how it does look after using powder burn: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
Finally this is how it look when heavy attack is loaded: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
What more indicators you need to know that there is skill loaded into your weapon for you to actually notice it? Big red sign taking half of your screen telling you that you have loaded skill?
haha. nice joke!
What joke? I’m asking seriously. I also forgot to mention that You can combine both skills with heavy attacks.
Actually yes. I use a screen reader to play.
This is what it looks like when my musket is not loaded, loaded, and etc:
Also when I walk I usually look at myself from behind, but I’ll consider moving my camera to the front when I walk a lot. Maybe it’ll make the game more surprising since I’ll never know what’s coming!
Finally, I’m a fan of exaggeration. I mean, who isn’t. But the proposed design isn’t much larger than the skill icon itself. It would be able to be viewed “EVEN WHEN YOUR GUN IS HOLSTERED OR IN SECONDARY”. Clearly the current method isn’t going to allow me to view what the state is of the chamber while it’s in either of those situations.
But to assist you with an understanding of the level of your mischaracterization I have made a neat diagram:
Clearly it takes more than 2 icons to fill the screen.
Obviously you were joking though. Because such a grossly unhelpful reply could only be justified as a deliberate troll.
So once again: nice joke.
