I think it’d be nice to be able to change your character’s appearance after the initial creation. There should be a station added in the sanctuaries called “Wardrobe Station” or something along those lines and either have appearance changes cost gold or be free. If adding a station isn’t plausible, something could be added in the settings to allow it.

I don’t think that is a good idea. It’s more personal and unique to have the characters as they were created. Just create the character carefully and with thought behind it. Maybe a barber to change hair/beardstyle would be the furthest I’d take it.
If you look at WoW for example, since they added appearance/sex/race changes it all just became a mess and the characters were not unique anymore. There’s no thought or effort behind anything in that game anymore because you can just do whatever you want if you pay for it.
Sounds reasonable. The ability to at least change hairstyle would be good though!
I 100% support the idea of changing appearance. Most MMOs offer this, some free and some as a paid service or included with a subscription.
It can get a bit stale having the exact same look on your character forever, it is fun to change things up (add a beard, remove the beard, change eye color, or add a scar at level 60 to represent your battles, etc).
To be honest, the character customization in New World is so basic and simplistic it would be very easy to add the option to change it up. Again, due to the basic options it should be a free featuire.
I want this soooooo bad. We play our characters every day and our opinion of them cosmetically may change for any reason. It’s out character that we grinded on for hours and I personally like looking bad ass when I’m playin and it adds a lot to the game experience for me when I do. This doesnt hurt the game in any way at all! I’m begging you PLEASE add a change token! I’m not happy with my girl anymore and since I went dps role shield sword and axe I want a viking looking Male sooo bad!! Devs PLEASE RESPOND TO IS THERE GOING TO EVER BE A SEX CHANGE OR EDIT APPEARANCE TOKEN WE CAN BUY OR EARN AND WHEN???
Totally agree with @Webby . There should at least be a appearance change for hair and facial hair. If someone wanted a gender change, they can also make money from it by providing it in cash shop (at a low price due to lack of cosmetic options on this game) to make it seem more fair for the devs who have to implement the option.
I want to change my characters appearance only because my beard clips with my favorite helmet. Or they could just fix their models so that it doesn’t clip… I’m very surprised though that they weren’t selling character editor tokens on the store from launch though.

I did not say it affects me. I only expressed my opinion why I think it’s better to not be able to change appearance like it is in WoW for example. I also said that being able to change hairstyle/beardstyle is okay. Read what I wrote again.

I would like this too. I like to change things like hairstyle/color to match with different skins and dyes. It would be cool if there was a barber or something in the world that you could visit (atleast for hairstyles/color).
How about being able to change the height, weight, musculature, and other physical features of your characters? As it is right now everyone on Aeternum is a clone of each other.
They should at least add something where you can change only cosmetics.
That would be a great idea! Though I hope they can make the character creation a little more… detailed than it is, before giving COMPLETE character appearance changes. There’s barely any options so everyone looks practically the same on my server lol That way everyone can be a little more unique…
I’d also love to be able to change hairstyles/makeup/tattoos etc somehow. Maybe a barber like Asha said, or a cosmetic station idk. Would be really cool in the future!
Oh don’t worry, I am sure that a character appearance token is coming to the cash shop, and probably will be here sooner than you think.
especially since my female character looks like a mailbox, changing her face would be nice in the future

I can’t foresee a future where an appearance change token isn’t a sure thing–it’s an easy moneymaker for Amazon. This, along with appearance packs with new faces, hairstyles, tattoos, etc.
I fear that this will result in yet another dumpster fire of a project. I want it, but yea…the track record thusfar is lackluster at best.
