It’s part of life. People are charismatic and organize. Just like countries in real life. Some have very little, and even hunger…others are rich and prosperous.
Actually the opposite. Mostly alpha/beta companies used long term known exploits to get ahead. Dominated the market. Got all max 600 gear early. Then used the ability to buy out resources to dominate crafting 600 bis. Loaded up their multi man companies to the point no one could challenge them until other factions just didnt have the man power or gear to take them. Thus all servers are now in a dying state.
Back door bandits for an example is an alpha company that avoided the others to get ahead lol.
The game does not work well. Every few months they’re going to have to reshuffle servers because this game is going to bleed players continuously as the people that are ahead get further ahead and the people behind feel less and less motivation to log on and compete against them.
The game is a giant negative feedback loop. Want to level? It’s 10x easier with friends. But good luck finding friends around your level because they’re spread out over 100 servers.
Tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands have already quit due to this.
You managed to get to 60? Well you better grind your ass off for some voidbent or soon you will need to get 590 (600 even given PTR) in every single slot!
Thousands if not tens of thousands have likely quit because they didn’t want to face this grind to be competitive.
And then voidbent is not BIS so you better enjoy the long grind and RNG fest of trying to get the half dozen weapon perks that are great, keen if you’re DPS, etc…
And again people will quit when faced with this grind.
Finally we have the PTR and 625 gear score grind per individual fucking piece with no new content just “lol we made healthbars and damage go up”.
I wonder how many we lose after this update?
But hey maybe you don’t care to be perfect or very competitive.
- You’re not likely to get picked for wars so the content is locked out from you.
- Even if you do get picked you’re at a significant disadvantage in PVP arena combat
Why do that when you can queue for a dozen or so MOBAs, FPSes where it’s actually about skill and not gear you spend hundreds of hours grinding to get?
This game is in deep, deep trouble and there will be server merges every few months. This game rarely gets new players and sees older ones leave all the time. Server mergers are basically necessary to keep the game afloat.
Allot of that is speculation. Just because we know dupes and bugs happened, now everybody is guilty of it because they are better than your group of people.
Well I know for a fact BDB exploited hard. Your boi naz boz likes to do his bragging and one of the drama lads gets on with him.
I know you had Theeduelists company do the same on his server, Demise do the same their server (but btfo other alpha companies). Hell even the yankies like pax still go ham with every exploit under the sun lol

This insane coin printing tax system is ruining servers with companies who owns Everfall, Windsward, Brightwood from start. Too much profit from taxes, idk any game with such reward. And system with 1 man (cloned) companies and 49 mercenaries for war.
You realize gating wars will create more problems right? The less populated factions will be fucked. People will quit and competitive companies will disband, coz why even try if you’re forever stuck with only owning 1 territory.
If you’re a casual player, do casual content. Its like queuing arena into a highend rating arena team in WoW and expect to be handheld by devs, then cry when you lose and throw a tantrum on the forums that it’s unfair you can’t buy gladiator gear when they can. If you want the best territories, play better and put in more effort, it’s that simple.

the same situation is on my server (EU).
The problem is not in that someone team is better in war then other. It’s competetive content and being better in war should be rewarded.
The true problem is making a fake alt guild to avoid a two or more wars at the same time. This should be fixed. If someone want to control all terries on server, have to do more then just have the best 50s.
It’s ridiculous that they set up 7 companies and make all war hours different.

Because the overwhelmingly dominant faction makes so much money it makes war one sided.
Also there was a threat and bulling by this dominant company that demanded our smaller company who can make “Gold Chests” to give them 100 chests or suffer loosing our one small territory.
When the economic system is so broken and provides so much gold that one company controls the trading and feels safe to bully other smaller companies the game is definitely broken.
And to the guys who are saying just get good, how can you compete when the ergonomic system is makes one company so rich no one else has a chance.
One war per player per day would help, but also gota reduce gold that territories are generating.

My company is the same way. They have a war team and no one is can get in on it unless you change your build to fit the team or your just extremely good.
Regardless something needs to change about war and territories.
Whether it means limits or changes I’m all for it. There are no greens on the map in our server and it feels bad knowing that they could try to stage a war. And even if they won it would all come down to attrition.
In all honesty war shouldn’t be something that happens every other day.
It should be a intense encounter that has lasting consequences.
Its a dumb system. 50 vs 50 ? Really? Should be at least 200 per side and each faction should only be allowed to hold 5 territories at the maximum.
Sould be a constant state of war for each territory. Azoth engine for the fail!
Theres been tremendous amounts of suggestions to get rid of and replace High Water Mark/Expertise…any reports on that being submitted?

Wanna get really pissed off? Go look at the balance sheet of the Winsward and Everfall companies. Absolutely fucking pathetic they didn’t foresee companies so grossly abusing the tax reduction ‘make good’. And than in true AGS amateur hour fashion just straight up ignore the issue for months until the damage is completely done. I really wish a quality gaming studio could somehow buy and fix this game. I know it won’t happen but a guy can wish.
Lumberyard engine of this game is crap. It will never let you play more then 100 ppl sieges…

I fully support the idea that when someone participates in a war, they get a “war-weary” debuff that disallows them from partaking in another war for 8 hours. This would get them through the current siege time for that day, but not stop them from participating in the following day’s war at an earlier time.
High skill, few player, many shell companies are controlling large, valuable sections of the map and actively making the game worse for other. They are 100% entitled to control the best territory, but they should not be able to nearly-as-easily control 4+ more territories.
defense is harder to take than attack for once. We have a dominating company in my server, but they failed against my faction in attacking. However, since that dominating company controlling WW and EF, they’re making a huge amount of money, and paying their members for switching stat/gears to get what they need. They stand strong as a defender.
This game required so much grinding to get end-game gears that the discrepancy between its players keep getting push further and further apart. At some point, it’s not about skill anymore, it’s about gears to determine who would win and lose.
My faction is clearly inferior to them in term of gears, and they don’t pay every member to change their stat. However, we still won as a defender, imagine attacking.
I disagree with the idea of limiting war, but every person knows the current system is not fair.
