report → cheating → abusing votekick
all I gotta say. 6 times in, 6 times KICKED. Apparently it’s so easy to kick somebody for no reason xD but you know what’s not easy? getting rid of gold selling bots.
edit: they dont even say strats anymore. they too busy votekicking ppl xD
This been going on since the Betas I played, and ignored. Like it’s happening in real life: False reporting has no punishment. If it did, people would think twice about abusing it. Another quick fix is auto-kick such potential cheaters after 2 hours+ during the time, an appeal can be made. Probably would need to lock their trading tho…
how about you cant votekick for NO REASON?

I agree with you that people need some more proof or details to just vote-kick someone, but it seems they decided such auto-kick needed to exist cuz they don’t have the personnel. It’s not a bad idea really, just not fully refined and people will always exploit loopholes.
no. votekick is there to quickly get rid of WACK tank/healer/dps that got invited to group when it comes to small groups, some total tools who do nothing productive and just leeching/getting carried.
when it comes to invasions governor has 10 slots to put leaders for each gate, tanks and healers so each gate has the core and coordination potential. then the pug is supportive role and you either get it or not.
i cant see reason to votekick at invasions unless we deal with player thats AFK.
edit: also, on my realm this votekick abuse has started like two days ago. before I could see ppl in invasion who end the instance with 0 dmg/heal on scoreboard. how didnt they get kicked then? now everyone is seemed to be kicked unless you same color/guild.
ahh, I misinterpret ‘that votekick.’ Thought it was something else… Sorry.
But still, since that’s needed for bad actors, they would need to fix that loophole. Or rather, implement a leader only vote-kick with subleader being able to if the leader is gone like other games have.
oh im sure it would fix something. because you have person in charge who can be punished for abusing the mechanics, so eventually all leaders would be responsible or banned.
