Hi, I recently spent the last few days doing the fishing quest line to receive the fishing gear. After completing it I accidentally salvaged two of the items (Fierce Fisherman’s Hat and Fierce Fisherman’s Trousers) while doing chest runs. As far as I can tell online and in game, there is no way to buy the items again as its obtained by questing and is bound on pickup. I’m super sad its gone, fishing is something I wanted to get to level 200 and it really sucks to lose a top tier piece of gear after working for it. Especially since no one sells the purple variant of these items.
I think there should at least be a feature for talking to a fisherman and repurchasing the reward from them.
I’ve seen posts where people were able to receive the items again by sharing there in-game logs and I was hoping that this is still an option.

I’m on the server ‘Alastor’ in EU.
Did the same and for a quest. They will not or cannot help you. You can buy some of the vengeful stuff but I have yet to see the hat or pants for sale on my server so I am not convinced they actually drop from the boss that they are supposed to drop from.

Unfortunately I have confirm you that since the items were salvaged accidentally the option to restore them is not available at the moment.
As you suggested, I am filing a feedback report so that at least the option of making the items available again, either through crafting, purchasing or any other means available. I can’t guarantee that this means the changes will be implemented, but I can make sure your suggestions are considered.
