na 10 seconds is too long, it should be the same cd as shirking heal (shirking heal also should be buffed)
Shirking Heals does not have a duration, and it has 6 sec CD.
Shirking Fortifaction has a 6 sec duration, if it had a 6 sec CD it would mean nothing (it basically works like that now), for it to have the same effective downtime as Shirking Heals it needs to be 12 secs CD.
That is why shirking heals needs a buff, it needs to be a burst of heals that actually means something. Shirking fort does not need double the cd because it has a duration.
honestly? if you take another perks in consideration like critical retribution which have 20 seconds cd, it should have alot more than that because it’s so much better.
Shirking Fort also should have never existed for the light threshold.

Even if it had shorter duration doesn’t really matter because you can have it up all the time. Even if you deplete your entire stamina bar it would take less than 6 seconds in order for you to have full stamina again.
That’s the whole reason this perk is kinda toxic, its a full time 19% fortify for those who actually have a full set with it. Shirking heals can’t even be compared to that.
shirking fort should only be usable by Heavy, period. It has issues only because they mistakenly made it available for everyone.
Note how shirking energy is light only and shirking debilitate cleans is medium only? shirking fort was intended to be heavy only. In practice is a bug.
Heavy armor cannot use this perk because dodging in heavy is situațional.
The problem is light and medium have op perks while heavy was left behind

12 seconds seems pretty reasonable considering it has a 6 seconds duration.
Agreed, add a CD to shirking fortification (10-15s) or reduce the % of it. Don’t agree with it being specific to an armor loadout. Also don’t agree with buffing shirking heals.
pretty sure all of the shirking’s besides fort are pretty much where it needs to be (at least until the pvp ones start working)
add a CD start with like 10 seconds and adjust it after gathering actual combat data.

Even if the value on it was half which would lead to 9.5% fortify it would still be worth building since it reduces all damage unlike resilient that only reduces critical strikes.

it’s better having it on heavy that is supposed to mitigate dmg, than on light that is not supposed to be specialized in that. I find it very useful on heavy, fwiw, dodging is still critical, but it’s not op there because you can’t spam dodge, nor you’re master in mobility. That’s exactly the point of having it only on heavy, it’s not op, it will be fine.
Move it to heavy only without cd , change light shirking to dmg with all5 pieses 15% more dmg for 10 sec cd 30 sec.
For medium give heals and buff litlebit heals
Shirking Fortification should work for heavy equip loads only. It was a mistake to give this to everyone.
If Devs are absolutely adamant that it should be available on all equip loads, perhaps there could be a scale:
Light equip load (625) … +0.9% per armour piece
Medium equip load (625) … +1.4% per armour piece
Heavy Equip load (625) … +3.9% per armour piece
In other words keep it the same for heavy equip loads, but adjust (balance) values for medium and light equip loads.
